The Builders is a fiction piece set in the Silent Death universe that deals with the origin of the Builders (Night Brood First Contact page 7)–how they met the Night Brood and why they aid them. It was one of the entires in our Silent Death Fiction Contest.

Structure is needed because you are telling a tale, a story that is meant to take the central protagonists (the player characters) somewhere. The tale is supposed to tell them something about themselves, expand their way of thinking and further explain who they are.

The core rules for Simply Roleplaying! are just that- the basic rules for running a game under the SR! system. You’re not going to find fantasy spell lists or details on the various alien races that would populate a space-based campaign. Specific settings are going to be covered in future supplements such as Simply Super! (for superhero roleplaying).

No human being has ever died at the hands of an implicit villain. The Nazis were very much present at the deaths of the Gypsies, Jews, and other unfortunates. The Serbian Nationalists were RIGHT THERE for every second of every ethnic cleansing. The Khmer Rouge had men making a personal appearance behind every trigger.
