Sometime yesterday we got a call from a state agency who needed to visit with us in connection with one of our houseguests. We informed them that we had one open time this month when everyone involved at this end would be available, and that was four thirty this afternoon. They said it was impossible, and we said we would gladly meet with them next month, so they said that they would be here today.
Seventy-five minutes late, they are not here. We’ve done a bit of scrambling at our end to be ready for them, but they are not here.
That disrupts my schedule, which is already a bit disrupted. I’m expecting Baxter for a Collision rehearsal in seventy-five minutes, although I’m going to have to finish making dinner and drive out to get him before then. Last night’s rehearsal with Brittany went better than anticipated, and tonight I expect to have Adam, so we’ll do a lot of the instrumental stuff.
There are so many things I’d like to get finished, but there’s only so much time, so I guess I’m not going to get to them today.
