Down to Ashes

Posted on 19 April 2009

There is an independent game publisher and author who might at this point regret having asked for reviewers for his game-promoting novel.  I offered, and I delivered a review of his Kingdom of Ashes which is probably not going to make him happy.  On the positive side, one of my editors checked the review before it went to print, and asked if I could lend my copy to a friend of his who would probably like that kind of thing, so maybe a bad review from a reviewer who wouldn’t like particular aspects of your work can be a good thing.
