Looking for Shade

July 5, 2010 in Blogs

It is again hot, and that has again destabilized the computer.  We found someone who thinks he might be able to repair the air for a third of the completely impossible price previously quoted, but I’m not entirely certain we can afford that and he’s not entirely certain he can do it for that price–but he’s coming this week to take a look.

Meanwhile, the latest Examiner temporal anomalies article has posted, this one, The Lake House part 11:  a tree grows, looking at the peculiar event in which Alex plants a tree in the past and it abruptly appears in the future.  I wonder what my readers think happened.

There’s a lot more on my plate, but I’m working on it.

  1. MJ, I had a thought. Why not put a fan and a bucket of ice water next to the computer? That might keep it cool to remain stable. It’s so crazy it might just work. And if it doesn’t, it’s not like it would hurt anything to try it once.

  2. I actually bought a fan, but people keep moving it to other places.

There’s no space for a bucket; there’s barely space for the computer.

    Thanks for the thought, though.
