This continues my game summaries from Six is Better than Seven, and takes us to my current world. I should be seeing Scott soon, so expect another summary before online play.

I woke up in a field of some wheat based crop. I stood up and looked around, realizing I was on farm land, with farm house nearby. I went over to check it out, and heard a dog whimpering under the porch. Going in to the farmhouse, I looked for food to try and coax the dog out, after trying and failing to do so with normal means. I found, on the kitchen table, an uneaten meal. I grabbed the porkchop, sufficiently scared at this point, and was about to go outside when I was confronted with a skeleton. I dropped the porkchop (and a werelight I had summoned) and began to attack it. When I destroyed the first and discovered the second, I decided to invent a magic spell that bathed me in holy light, causing damage to the undead (a 9@2 create light with a 1@something torture spirt incorrporated in, 1@10 I think). I demolished the skeletons, discovered the torn up corpses of the children of the farm house, and left with much haste, dog in tow. I traveled for a while, created a magic spell to talk to the dog, and walked for most of two days or so.

Rain plagued me, I ran into the dog's original owner, and arrived in a cross-roads town. I found the inn and used my rings as collateral for a night's rest and food. In the morning, I went to the silversmith and exchanged one of my rings for paper money, paid the innkeeper and got my other ring back. On the advice of the silversmith, I went to the church and waited till the father showed up. When he did, I asked if I could work for him. He allowed me and gave me a quick run down of what I'd do, mostly involving cleaning. On each Moon Day I was to ring the bell (the next one was in 3 days). I began cleaning the chapel and the gravestones, stomping down the grave dirt as was asked. I went and ate dinner with the silversmith, Johnson, that I had met before. I told him that my family had been attacked by the undead, and that the neighbors decided it was best to use fire to deal with them. This got very interesting responses. They were very quiet about it and immediately changed the subject.

That night, I was woken up by something (or was just about to fall asleep) when I noticed lights in the graveyard. I went up to the bell tower and looked out on the graveyard. I saw a few shambling people and assumed the worst. I ran downstairs and outside, and then something horrible happened. I tried to use my holy light spell and botched, calling to Jared and Jamaal instead of Bah Tor. Therefore, every corpse in the graveyard rose in an eerie blue light. I ran inside and up to the bell tower and saw as they formed a giant crescent, the symbol of the anarch gods, and began to talk to each other (well, those that could make noise did at least).

The exciting conclusion when I feel like updating it!

This is a continuation of the massively overdue summaries I need to be posting, found in There and Bah Ke'gehn.

I woke up on a hillside, in my raw walker form and scare a little girl. I go out into the woods and disguise myself using magic. Then, I save the little girl from 'ogres', who look to be children (boys) around the ages of 12-13. I found a village of small children and talked to their leader, who looked to be about eight. I found out that a giant lives on top of the mountain they lived on, and I left to go find this giant that they were afraid of.

I dealt with ogres on the way up, and experimented with some magic spells (create fire, purify water, extended pseudo-invisibility) sleeping once and going up to the giants house in demon form. I climbed a tree and jumped into the mansion through a crumbled tower, leaving the spear I stole from the Dol Nor at the bottom of the tree. I met the owner of the mansion, Gaston, who was quite hospitable and not put-off by my form. Middle-aged, seemingly cultured man, who ate children. This I discovered when he told me the children went great with a rosemary sauce. Another person showed up, a cold woman with an axe. She left, and I developed some defenses magical spells and fortified his mansion. I spent the night there and some of my sensors were tripped (see list of magic spells). I got hungry and decided to go down to the cellar, and discovered the arm of a human child on a meat hook. At this point, I decided Gaston's hospitality did not outweigh his child slaughtering. I went back up to his room, and I dragged him out of bed and hurled him into his armoire, breaking a mirror in the process. We fought around his house, and I eventually knocked him unconscious by tossing him down his stairs. Then I dragged him into his room, took his ring, threw him on his bed, and trapped him inside by activating the defenses I had set up for his room. Later, Gaston passes away.

Sometime after I atoned for his death, and went back down into the cellar. I melted the padlock on a trap door beneath some carpet, and descended down through a spiral staircase. I found two cell like rooms, then turned around and headed back up to the cellar. There I ran into Talbot, a blonde haired blued eyed young man wielding a jewel encrusted axe. He attacked me and we fought for a bit, I became wounded and tried to heal myself. Some magic spell botched, and I summoned a spirit that inhabited the arm of meat hanging on the hook. Talbot ran out of the cellar, and I ran back down to the basement like spiral staircase.

It was here in the basement that I found what we would later call the deep ones or the deep children, who were bandaged children with golden eyes. They spoke to me about the various artifacts that are in circulation amongst the giants and that they are really stolen property and should be returned. As such, I give them Gaston’s Ring.

At this point I forget the exact order of events. A few things happen, mainly, I travel to Melna’s house, have tea, threaten her, and then escape after she sicks her cadre of ogres at me. Then I think I visit Hans, an older man living in a tower, sneak in and toss him around, and take his magical belt buckle that enhances my strength. I return to Gaston’s place, find, beat up, and then team up with Talbot. We return to Melna’s place shortly thereafter, knock her out, I go upstairs to search for stuff, and then come back downstairs to find that Talbot has slaughtered most of her ogres, which I am not pleased about but kind of let happen. We remove Melna’s fake eye with my knife. I cast a healing spell to regrow her eye. I keep her jeweled fake eye.
Talbot and I go back to Hans’ place (though I forget why) and are confronted by a united front of 4 or so giants. I attempt to use the eye to get them to leave, and at least one does (whether under its influence or not I can’t tell). Then we fight with the others, I almost kill and am almost killed in return by Vlad, an older giant, who can apparently summon things. He almost kills me by tossing acid on me from a pan he summoned. Everyone scatters including Talbot and I. We regroup at Gaston’s place (or Talbot’s I can’t remember) and decide to go on the offensive and attack Vlad. We do so, but his house is booby-trapped, I fall into a pit and magic my way out, go inside only to fall down into his basement, only to be caught by Vlad in a net. I escape, but get pushed into a spiked pit and then gutted by Vlad. I die, and verse out.

This is a continuation of my game summaries, the previous one can be found at In the Garden of the Blue Lady.

I woke up to I believe a slight kicking. I looked around and found myself in a small steel room with six men (well, humanoid people at least) all shackled with steel manacles held together with what looked like magnetics. They were:

Greeny, a green guy with tentacles for a mouth.
Hands, who had an extra thumb on each hand.
Teeth, a short guy with red eyes and filed teeth.
Large, who was very very large.
Hair, who was quiet and had long hair.
Oh, and there was Bob.

After Greeny relinquished my knife, I used it to pop out Hands' restraints and allowed him to free the rest. I came to the understanding that I was on a prison ship, and that they were being transported to some planet to be tried and executed. They decided (and I went along) to take control of the ship via force. At this point, the door opens. Large attempts to deal with the guard, but his "stun baton" (which they called a jeeper) hurled him back and slammed him into me, causing us to both take damage. He slipped away and as we poured out into the hallway, another guard or two showed up. I launched into combat, but one guard showed up with what looked like a giant spotlight and fired it. I believe that it was some kind of high concentrate water vaporizer, because nothing happened but everyone including the guard looked tense about it. I tossed him against the wall and Teeth jumped out and held him using the jeeper. Negotiations (if you can call them that) were started with the guard, basically, tell us the codes to open the doors or we'll kill you. This included the large blast doors separating the bridge from the rest of the ship. Turns out they were finger-print doors (Greeny probed his mind with his tentacles), so we got the guard to unlock the doors to the weapon lockers.

At this point, we had basic control of this part of the ship. The blast doors would not open. The ship was proceeding steadily towards the prison planet. The five were busy debating what to do (Hair was staying out of it all). I poked around in the maintenance section of the ship and found the engine, which I suggested we cut to stall time. Teeth, Hands, and Large go back to the engine to get it to stop working. It's at this point that the guards came back and a firefight ensued. I went around the maintenance tunnel and dove into the bridge, since the blast doors were open. I gave a speech about how we'd taken over the ship, when the bridge door opens to reveal a guard with a kinetic blaster. Teeth was there and attempted to take him down, but I took one too many shots from the blaster and went down.

This takes us to the most current, unnamed world. I'm thinking about calling it The Lies of the Moon.

Once his long-overdue play summary is finished and posted, this thread will continue Graham's game (well, Graham I now) from There and Bah Ke'Gehn, and before that from Through Hell and Bah'k. He'll be writing it, or at least most of it, or at least I hope so, but I've gone ahead and saved him the trouble of starting the thread for his new world. When his story reaches the point of his self-inflicted demise on the sacrificial alter of an evil god, he'll link to this thread and we'll continue the narrative here.

I created this thread for two reasons; firstly so I wouldn't have to go find my old one and it would be easier for Scott to put down the summary, and secondly, I had this title running through my head while I was in the mountains with Scott.

Oh, Scott, I'm back from Greece, so we can start up again.

When Scott came over last we didn't really talk about summaries for this world, so I'll write a brief snippet here since I have a three-day weekend and I have some time off.

The first sensation I felt was heat on my the back of my torso and legs. I wake up lying on a sea of fire which spreads farther than I can see. After trying some of my telekinetics and finding that they succeed (though I accomplish nothing of mention with them), I spot a group of demon-like herders, shepherding giant worms covered in fur. I walk towards the group, and they move away. This proceeds for a minute (under the idea that if this is a demonic world of torture, they probably <i>shouldn't</i> be running from me) and eventually I contact them telepathically and ask them why they are fleeing. They start moving faster. I attempt to fly, and succeed, but move at a ridiculously slow pace. Eventually I get close enough walking that I can speak to them. I've noticed a few other lifeforms while walking, and a large red-skinned humanoid with wings flies down and we talk for a while. We discuss, oddly, religion and evolution and I try to convey the idea of humans coming from humans. He asks what I want, and I tell him food. He asks what I eat (mentioning that he himself eats a "My English is not so good... tofu?" like substance) and I try to send him the concept of food and brainburn. We talk more and he brings me food. We talk about where I am to stay, and he talks a bit about the giant pillars that dot the vast, empty landscape. He flies off, and I wait for him to come back at the base of the pillar he lives in. He returns with more tofu-like food and some milk (though Scott is unsure how he got it to me, more on that later) and we talk again. I show him my knife, and he does not know what it is. He told me that if he asked the Overlord, maybe I could stay at his place. That's pretty much where we stopped, if I remember correctly.

He told me about the lifecycle of his species, which Scott can explain if necessary. I have forgotten all the names (there were a lot) and Scott can fill those in.

Graham on "Really Bad Eggs"

I'll just put the last entry from Really Bad Eggs here, since I've got them all handily stored in my email:
(I'm kind of unsure as to how the coding works, but here we go)

Scott: Unless you left anything in the hold of the Mistress o' Hell, yes, you should be wearing all of that. Recall that anything not on your person is at the bottom of the sea. Your equipment above sea level consists of those items noted in the first post of this thread, the pocket kibble listed in http://www.gamingoutpost.com/discussions/index.php?s=&showtopic=83081&view=findpost&p=99200, and the items you kept from the hold: a dingy blue vest, a floppy blue hat, a loaded pistol, six spare bullets, and spare gunpowder for about six shots.

I believe you took off the uniform jacket, the spiked helmet, and the floppy hat; we'll say those things are in the belly of the rowboat. Everything else is somehow stored on your person.

Crupp says nothing in response to you, but his white pupils swivel to Neely. The bald pirate gives his report with the flat brevity you've come to expect from him:

"As the boy says, Cap'n. Tom said the storm weren't natural and the harbor weren't safe enough, gave orders to sail 'round the island and shelter on the other side. Said there weren't time to get your orders neither. I volunteered to row back with the boy and tell you what he done."

Crupp finally speaks. His tone is hard to read. "Ordered you off his ship, did he?"

"No sir, I asked his leave and convinced him to give it. And begging your pardon, it's your ship. Sir."

Two beats.

Crupp suddenly animates, gesturing down the beach and bellowing, "ALL HANDS TO THE PRIZE! UNLOAD EVERYTHING YOU CAN BEFORE THE STORM HITS, GET IT BEHIND THE TREELINE! MOVE!"

The last command is unnecessary - everyone's already racing toward the Dutch wreck.
