I've looked around a bit, and I haven't seen anything that looks like an Edit button for my posts. I really like being able to edit my posts; is there a way to do this that I'm overlooking, or perhaps a method to be added in the future?
Editing?

That's odd; I can see an edit button for that post, but not any of my others. Perhaps there's a time limit?

I like the old setup better. This one sucks already.

I'm not seeing an edit function either Scott. State of the Art American made technology for you.
(EDIT) Strike that last, as I have just found the edit function hahaha.

Well, they just put this up, there's probably still a few bugs that need to be ironed out. I like the old system much better than this one. I can just imagine all the problems this one is going to cause.

Ya know Scott, I think you're right. I think there is a time limit on the edits. The last two posts I made in this thread showed EDIT before. That was when the counter read 55 minutes. Now the counter is reading over an hour, and the EDIT function is gone. Strange.
(EDIT) This one just got posted 3 seconds ago, and it shows edit, but the other two don't. Yeah Scott, must be a time limit on it.

I am pretty sure this is a temporary setup, until they decide how to skin the board. They're more worried with functionality than eye candy at this point.

There is a time limit on editing. It was set to 60 minutes but I've bumped it up to one week.

Thank you! If I miss a typo or an error for seven days straight, it probably wasn't all that important anyway. Quite sufficient.

I figure it should be. And I can bump it up again if there's a need. The argument for the limit is to keep people from going back and changing things after other people have responded. Or deleting all their posts and going home if they get upset (which happened on another set of discussions I ran a long time ago, with a guy zeroing out something like 200+ posts over several months).

A week sounds more than adequate to me.
In fact, now that I've figured out that em is for italics and strong is for bold, I'm going back to a previous post to fix my coding.
Thanks.
