That's because this software doesn't support private messaging. Although you are required to provide a valid e-mail account to register, not even I as moderator can access that address, so when I need to contact someone I just hope that somewhere in my mailboxes the Netscape address search system can match a correct address to the name I type.
I ought to add to the requirements for play here that you include sending me an e-mail so I have a valid address, but I so rarely need them and usually can find them somehow, and in any case, posting an open personal message to the board works well enough. You should put it in "Off Topic", though, partly because they're terribly difficult to move once they're posted in the wrong forum.
