I assumed (quite naturally, I thought) that being invisible was the stealth. I guess I'm as good as the next guy. Average amateur ability, whatever that is.
I'm reposting my last two posts to make it easier on your for exactly what I'm doing.
It took me a minute to figure out how they got on either side of me. I had envisioned it that I was facing a side wall, but I'm facing the front of the room. That does make a difference, doesn't it?
23 bullets left.
Duck down, and back away between them. When I get enough distance that I can move freely, be very quiet, and head over to the fireplace. I'm still invisible, so that should be a cinch. Take the long way if I have to in order to get around the demons.
Since they seem to think that I'm in between them, maybe they will hit each other whilst looking for me. If one of them accidentally kills the other during that, all the better.
Once I get to the fireplace, assuming I make it, take out the four 30-06 bullets, and just wait. I'll wait praying. I'll be scanning the room, keeping my eyes open, and praying "God, heal my injuries, that I might continue this battle." Wait praying silently for 5 minutes. I'm standing against the wall, trying to be in a position so that no one will be likely to run into me. I'm not kneeling, I'm just standing against the wall praying, and scanning the room with my eyes. I'm just waiting praying for 5 minutes. I want everyone to forget that I am here, or at least wonder what has happened to me.
What's going on in the room?
It occurred to me that in every monster movie I've seen, the disguised monster took back its true form upon death. Did Cathcart turn back into a demon when I killed him? It would still look like a demon to me, so I couldn't tell from looking. However, I imagine people's reactions to such a thing would make it fairly obvious. Might the king realize that the other two princes aren't what they appear to be, and send the knights after them?
