"Yes, Let's."
I rush in with a slide side kick and then throw a flip kick, a hook kick, a round house kick and two punches.

You come in with a nice slide kick, and he leaps in the air, and does his own aerial side kick to the side of your face. You somehow spin in the air, so that by the time you hit the ground, you're facing the other direction. Blinking back the stars, you hear him speaking from behind you.
"Round to me. Try again?"
He's waiting for you to get up. If you hadn't toughened your skin, it would certainly have a bootheel shaped bruise on your face.

I get up and face him.
"Nice kick! Of course I'll try again!"
I'll throw a flip kick, a hook kick, a round house kick and three punches.Fri Dec 10 2010 4:40 pm # -
You run up to him, and spin into your flip kick. He gets up a block and catch, but too slow, and you power through it and slam him in the chest. Gritting his teeth, he lands a sloppy right hook on your face, and you try to hook him, but good.
Your leg goes toward his leg, and drops him to one knee.
You follow with a soft, short punch to his shoulder, and he leaps to his feet, powering into your chest, lifting you off the ground on his shoulder. He's bolting forward.

I'll gather more chi as I hit his back repeatedly with my elbow.
once I have a large amount, I'll use it to push myself away from Kirk.Fri Dec 10 2010 10:37 pm # -
You hit him again and again so that he fumbles his attempt to dump and dive on you, and you land relatively softly which means its only majorly painful. And then you hammer him again, and drive the air from his lungs.
He rolls over and lays spread-eagled on the ground next to you.
"Your round." He whispers.

"Do you want to continue or call the match now?"
I'll wait for him to get up or reply.
As I wait, I'll draw in more chi.OOC: Good job predicting the follow up kick. That's exactly what I would do in that situation.

"Enough for now. You're using some sort of bioelectric force, I take it?"
The alien comes over, and Kirk walks slowly back to his cage. The alien pulls your hair up, proclaims you the "Undisputed WINNER!", and asks if you want to try another.

I reply to Kirk
"That's close, but that's not it. I'll explain it to you if we get a chance to talk."I ask the alien "What happens if I lose?"
After it answers, I go over and pick Spock.
"Greetings Spock of the Enterprise. It's an honor to meet you. Although I'm sorry it's in this situation."
Throughout all of this, I'm gathering more chi.

"Back to the bottom of the tourney. Right now, you're in position 62."
"It will not be so easy for you to use bioelectric force on me, Magnus." He says, and gives you a small bow before he steps out and assumes a razor-handed position. You can feel his presence through the chi like a solid blob of mollasses or a fortress or a steel knife, his calmness, his solid thought, his clear reason all drag chi out of you.
Just standing ten feet away from him, you're finding it hard to hang on to what you have.
"Vulcan mental disciplines." He explains calmly. "What time period were you drawn from?"

I smile when I feel him drag the chi out of me and try to forcibly increase the flow of chi until it is barely under control
"Your right, It wont be easy, But that makes it interesting.
Originally, I'm from Earth circa 2009 A.D. . I wasn't drawn here, I think. I just showed up."I go into my stance and go in with three punches and a round house kick.
OOC:should we move this thread to the new forums?

"Fascinating." He pauses. "The Age of the Great Classical Musicians, such as American Idol. I assume this is after the New Years' Nukes when President Hilary Clinton nuked Baghdad and Damascus in response to the Christmas Day biostrike on San Francisco. I've been to the Great Prism Memorial in San Francisco remembering the fallen dead. The Great Rainbow shines every hour to remember the fallen homosexuals who had no defense against a bioweapon. Its right across from Star Fleet Hospital One, and not coincidentally, the finest counter-bio facility in Starfleet."
You're teetering a bit with your chi, and Spock's face goes even more remote as he counters your new draw. You're still losing a bit, but not as bad as before.
He palm catches your first punch, and with a jolt you feel a substantial loss of chi. He staggers back as well, and your second hit misses wildly even as he blinking his eyes throws up his other arm in a weak block.
"Interesting."

"Right era, wrong parallel."
After the two punches, I use enough chi to jump 40 ft. back.
The way that Spock's mental disciplines seem to work, reminds me of a game I played on my home world. Magic the Gathering... He acts just like a blue/white player. Let's see how he deals with green magic!
I remember the forests of my home in Tennessee. I attempt to draw in the essence of nature and growing thing. It's primal forces and raw power.I'm attempting to draw green mana.
Let's see if that works.

You become aware that you're on an asteroid with little life compared to a dessert. Compared to Tennessee, where there is enough green to hurt your eyes in the spring, well, let's just not go there.
Spock is walking toward you with quick, purposeful strides, being careful not to lose control.
Wed Dec 15 2010 5:25 am # -
Well that didn't work...I'll lose to Spock without my chi. Let's see if he can handle more chi!
I'm increasing the chi flow until the only control I have over it is the ability to turn it off.
I'm using all the chi I've gathered up to this point to try to destroy Spock's molasses field by burning it away.
Once he gets close I'll throw four punches at him.

GE Roll: 26. Yippee!
The power roars through you, and you see Spock look frightened and then you see him sprinting away from you.
"Please reduce your power levels, girl Prshiuto Magnus." You hear the alien announcer blare. You're burning in your own fires.
You see the man with the seventeen foot long scarf, his eyes keenly alert, walking toward you. Its almost like he's been waiting for this moment.
"You're going to rip a hole in the space-time continuum if you keep this sort of unbalanced power blasting up." He says. And suddenly you're outside the asteroid, looking out into the depths of interstellar space orbitting the asteroid casino as he orbits you in a telephone booth sorta thing with the door open. "Dreadfully sorry about this, Magnus, old chap."
You verse out.
