   Anyone know when Multiverser will be back online? Did we lose our character pages? Anyone know anything? Email me A1nut@insight.rr.com and let me know. Hopefully MJ will be back tomorrow and he will know some of this.

   Check out "Regarding the New Setup" under the GAMING OUTPOST TALK forum. You'll find a link to all the old archived messages at http://discussions.gamingoutpost.com . They're just waiting for the DNS rollover before it finally goes up. However, it is taking longer than expected. If it isn't up by the end of the weekend, then they have a backup plan.

   You can post on the Actual Play thread if you want, but you should probably wait until the old discussions are up. I have all my old game threads in my email, so i can just post away. Now I'm just waiting for Scott, and I should probably email him.

   I'll update that in the other thread too. If you have problems with it, post here. the old system is locked down, you should only be able to read and not post.

   We have been surprised by the unilateral and unforeshadowed termination of our official forum, and will have to discuss how we intend to proceed from here. This is particularly awkward timing, since we had people at GenCon promoting the official forum as the best way to find us at the same moment that Gaming Outpost was pulling the plug on that forum. It is particularly surprising because it was not that long ago that Aaron Powell was assuring me that the co-branding and expansion of the official forums aspect was going to be pursued, and no one mentioned that this plan had changed.

   I will keep people posted concerning our decisions.

   I guess I need to say thank you. Between a quick e-mail to Aaron and a post here, the official Multiverser forum appears to have been restored in maybe a quarter of an hour.

   I will be attempting to restore gameplay there, and to answer questions about Multiverser, as before.

   Thanks to Aaron, Jacob, and Dutch for addressing our concerns so swiftly.
