None of the old posts from Gaming Outpost are up yet. Is this something that's going to take some time to cut over? Also my account didn't transition so I made a new one, is that something that will also take some time?

You account should have transitioned. Is this the same username as before?
The old version of the discussions are being ported over as I write this (the script transferring the stuff takes a while to run). When that's done, you'll be able to see it all at discussions.gamingoutpost.com. However, posting on the old boards has been turned off and they're there for reference. All future posting should take place here.

Perfect. I assumed I was just in the right place at the right time and got to witness the transitional period where old posts are unavailable and new posts haven't been written yet.
Thanks for the swift response.
As far as my account, I registered a new account using my old username. When I attempted to log in at first, it told me the account didn't exist. If you want to delete this new account and attempt to port over the old data, that would be fine. I only had a couple unimportant PMs in the box (which I've already read), so it wouldn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

I think I figured out what happened with your account. When we transfered the accounts to the new system, I believe we only moved the ones that had written articles so the authors would continue to work. SInce the old forums were being turned off, we didn't transfer all the accounts that only were used in those -- since it's not like we were moving the posts to the new setup. So if you never published articles, your login probably wasn't transfered. I think.

Thats true, we only moved over about 50 user accounts, only for authors. there are no user accounts of people that were just in the forums.

Ahh, that makes sense, and most likely is what happened. No harm no foul! Thanks for the info guys.
