We're picking up the game for Steven Zolkov; his previous game thread is archived as Messiah Steve; the last of those refers to some numbers posted Behind the Screens on July 5th (two consecutive posts). He had failed to alter his aura, but it was because of the difficulty in that world and not because it was impossible, and was preparing for a mission to capture the Vorgo from its holding place.
