I’ll tell the security chief that I’m glad to be back and confirm yes, the hour change is because of girl, and yes, she’s worth it.

After we leave TerraNova, I’ll suggest Kim and I catch a movie sometime in the coming week, and also practice what I’ve been teaching.

I’ll tell her I figured out how to read minds, and try teaching it to her during that meeting.

My thoughts will purposely be focused on how nice it is to be on the same schedule as Kim and be able to spend more time together.

I’ll smile when she teases me about my thoughts. “It seemed as good a thing as any to think of. We should probably decide what’s acceptable use of this skill and what isn’t, especially in regards to one another. As I see it we either agree to both be ok with reading each others minds or agree to only use it on others. I would lean towards allowing it all together, but could see both points.
As to applications with others, so long as we don’t use it to harm others. What do you think?”

Thoughts: im thinking of ways that I could prevent damage, remembering Kim had expressed wanting to learn and I had said I would experiment, but its been rather busy and I just forgot. I feel a little bad over it too. Perhaps I could harden my skin to avoid damage, or turn insubstantial so attacks pass through me, or maybe just using a stronger varient of the rain shield I used on Kim and my first date would do… then again I could try combining some of these. But we really should establish a mutual view on mind reading…

OOC: Kims psi bias should be 10@8, from learning the trick I used to prick my arm so I could heal myself

I’ll attempt to use read surface thoughts then, since she has no issue with reading each others mind.

As to when she mentions i better only be picturing her naked, well thats sure to make the thought and image come to mind. Out loud though, with a bit of smirk, “That wont be an issue on either count.”

I’ll suggest we watch a movie, and if the choice is left up to me i’ll pick a romantic comedy to cuddle up with her to.

Thoughts: Wow, I’m such a lucky guy. Kim really is amazing…. and now i cant get my mind off how she looks naked.

I’ll attempt to boost my persuasian with my temporary enhancement skill, and try and read her mind again.

My thoughts will be flitting between the movie, trying to read Kims mind, and the imagery she inspired earlier. Also occasionally wondering to myself what all she has heard from my thoughts.

Thoughts: I’m really happy i managed to pick a film she likes. She’s also certainly quick about the implications of me teaching her to read minds, and i realize theyre very accurate, and the idea of things being long term makes me happy.

Otherwise just watching the movie, and enjoying being with Kim.

Aftrr the movie i’ll suggest we shift the focus of our normal lessons to both practicing mind reading, both on each other and random people. I’d like to get more reliable with it. So between practicing it routinely and making note of what works and what doesnt we can help train one another to be more proficient at it .
What I’m hoping for mechanically is for her to develop a training skill for mind reading and i use mine to train her and she uses hers to train me, and that taking the place of the lessons we’ve been having.

Just going about my schedule then, although spending more time with Kim and focusing on practicing mind reading a lot.

Edit: I managed to get to a computer earlier than I thought I would today, so I figured I’d look up Kim’s skill from before:

The question, though, is whether 2 intensities of damage will damage the wall. I’m going to say yes, and not worry about it in too much detail, as it would have to have a 3@ density not to be damaged by such a shot.

I’ll attempt to maintain it. If it falls I’ll let it go for the night, but if i maintain it I’ll continue trying to maintain it until i fail to.

Otherwise going with my plan from last post.

I’m going to stay in the habit of posting my thoughts since she might start listening at any point.

I’ll continue trying to maintain the connection, until either i fail or after the conversation on the topic of training one another i outlined before.

When she thinks about meeting my family I’ll think briefly on how much has happened since I last saw my parents, and thinking my dad would be proud of me, and would like Kim. I suppose I won’t see my parents again though… so that would make introducing Kim difficult. I’m looking forward to meeting Kims parents, and hope that they”ll like me.
Just watching the movie then. I’m hoping Kim agrees about the importance of training one another in this. I cant imagine with how its been going that she’ll disagree.
