GenCon Photoessay

Finally! After whittling down the photos to a mere 137, then resizing them so as not to give your web browser a seizure, we bring you the GenCon 2000 Photoessay, in all its gory detail. There are six freaky and wonderful sections to choose from.

The Press Conference
Thursday Morning, just before the opening day of GenCon 2000, Wizards of the Coast had a press conference to talk about the release of Dungeons and Dragons 3rd Edition. Clinton, Nick, and Peter were on hand, and I stopped in a got some pictures.

The People
Somewhere around 35,000 people attended GenCon 2000, and here are some of the highlights.

The Costumes
There was no way that we could get pictures of everyone in costume, so, sorry if we missed you. As always, it was impressive to see what people could come up with, and what they were willing to wear in public.

The Costume Contest
We couldnt get pictures of every entry in the costume contest, and remember that many of these costume contest performed as well as paraded, so this collection cannot do the costume contest justice.

The Crazies
All I can say is, when Jacob has a camera and Photoshop, you better watch out.
