Writing Practice, Jan. 13th 2002
Which is a bummer, because I've come down with some sort of stomach bug. All ready to return to writing substantial columns, and I feel yuck.
So this time around you're getting a personal column.
What am I planning on doing in the near future.
1. Add to my Paypal account. Currently has $20.00 and some odd cents. Any money I have left over at the end of this month goes into the account.
2. Pay off my credit card. That's gonna take awhile.
3. Get my main computer working again.
4. Get Mac OSX for both computers.
5. Donate my old machine to a good cause.
6. Get a bike.
7. Go out more. With or without the bike.
I have been contacted by a fellow about DnD. If it works out I should have some "war stories" to relate soon. I'll also be able to try out those bits of advice I've been handing out to see how they work for me. I'm going from scientist to engineer!
Work on the Tales of the Wolf Folk Seaseries is going well. Mostly in the cognition realm, but you will see something substantial (if esoteric) this Wednesday.
Were you aware that we really have no idea how many moons Earth has? We have that mucking great one we call Luna, but there are a number of little scraps of rock that orbit this planet as well. Pretty much transitory. For the most part they're perturbed out of orbit fairly soon after coming into orbit. Then there are Earth's Trojan asteroids. These asteroids proceed and succeed the Earth in it's orbit. All planets have them.
Consider that a little taste of Tales of the Wolf Folk Sea Part Two
(When you get to be my age, you pick up all sorts of strange facts.)
So I did have something to say after all. Gives me hope for tomorrow.
Overall bouts of the blecks pass soon for me. If this episode is like the last few, I should be back to (relative) normal tomorrow. I hope this provided you with some amusement, and maybe gave you an idea or two.
