Writing Practice, Nov. 12th 2001
Welcome one and all. Here you have the first official Writing Practice, a column about a lot of different things. Most of them having something to do with gaming, if only at a remove.
First a bit about my campaign world, Ki. The charts have been redone. Now to roll things up and flesh the results out. Once I've determined what sort of worlds share the stellar system that houses Ki I can start to work on Ki itself.
As for today's main essay, I'm drawing a blank. I had something to write about, but apparently it doesn't want to get written today. Don't you hate it when your thesis would rather stay out of the limelight?
Here I am, trying to produce something people are going to want to read, and my subject won't cooperate. It's irritating. So now I have to fill this space with something, and I have nothing to fill it with.
Here I am, trying to entertain and inform you, as well as draw people to The Gaming Outpost, and I have nothing to say. I know "Seinfeld" managed to pull it off, but this aint "Seinfeld".
Dang.
So this will have to be just an introduction, a 'hello' if you would. Tomorrow I should have something to write about. What will that be? Come back tomorrow and find out.
