Smaller Principles

Hey.. I like how Wick said that we shouldn't sit around and just say - the industry sucks - we should do something about it. I am going to spend some cash - not a whole lot - but some... to perform a bit of an experiment. I decided I would try to help the industry but do it in a way I really could help. I am going to setup a domain - oklahomagaming.com (within the month or so) - and give all game shops in Oklahoma free webspace. I am also going to give free webspace to all the cons in Oklahoma. The site may also have a small forum area, a gamer database, and links to cool sites and cool articles scattered across the web. Basically, I am going to try to be a nexus for the state of Oklahoma and no other. I figure, if my idea even takes off slightly, and game shops nab the idea to save a little cash per month - I will make a little nifty flyer - print off alot and drop them (or mail them) off at the gaming shops. Every purchase of any product in the store - the gameshop employees drops the ad of the site into the bag. Then, bit by bit, hopefully, we grow. Gamers in Oklahoma can reach out to other gamers - shops in Oklahoma get some nifty stuff and can reach out to gamers as well.. and who knows what else might happen?
