Is anyone else on here reading and reviewing MJs latest Christian novel? I can never remember the title. Just wondering.
Old Verses New is not yet in print, and it's not specifically a Christian book despite the fact that one of the three principles, Lauren Hastings, is a Christian. (Of the other two, Joe Kondor is an atheist and Derek Jacob Brown, the new character, is not committed to anything yet. There is also some discussion of religion, but Joe gets the upper hand as often as Lauren in this, and Derek's indecision plays on the strengths of both sides.) My newest book in print, About the Fruit, is not a novel (which specifically means a long fictional story) but an exposition and application of scripture, a sort of teaching book.
A few people have read the former, in pre-release copies being edited; more people, but probably not many of the same people, have read the latter, but I don't know who they are. It's not yet reached general distribution (something on my todo list), but is available directly from the printer. I had it at a reduced introductory price for a few weeks, but that's ended because I don't want to have to deal with changing the price after it appears on all the retail sites.
Which of those did you mean?

I was supposed to get a complementary copy of About The Fruit for writing the review of that other book, and I as of yet have not gotten it. I was wondering what the holdup was.
I answered this by e-mail, but so it does not appear that I am ignoring it: I have to buy those copies, and I ran short, but I have one set aside for you as soon as I can get it packed and mailed. I think I have a mailer, too, but I'll have to look for it.
