I don't know as a player, but again, I presume my eyes were probably checked in Why Spy, so it's been less time since his eyes were examined than it has been since my eyes were as good as his; counterpoint, I don't know how bad my own eyes are, so an intellect check might be in order.
How bad your eyes are is anecdotal around here. The first time you donned a pair of glasses, you embarrassed your poor mother who was not sure you needed them by saying, "Mama, I can see my feet!" You and David Oldham are the two people I know whose eyesight is probably worse than mine, and I am legally blind uncorrected.
But I would agree that they probably got you new glasses in Why Spy.
"Right. Well, in this world, they've developed some kind of laser surgery that can repair that; but it's not generally available, as the government hasn't approved it, so I'd have to get you into the experimental test group. Shouldn't be too difficult, if you want to try it."

Yeah, well, I mean; they're pretty bad! =P I don't know exactly how bad.
"Test subject?" I sound concerned at best. "Test subject," I continue pensively after a second to think it over. "You know, we're in a world chock full of superheroes. It might be several lifetimes before we get an opportunity to develop some real superpowers; maybe we ought to go ahead and test a few more products and services for them."
She smiles. "I'll get you listed for evaluation. You'll probably have to stay home from school for a couple days after the surgery."
And it's back to school, and to Kat, with whom you were discussing your weekend.

Yes, essentially broke down my weekend for her walking a fine line with discretion, told her to focus on training so that she can hold her own and I can comfortably introduce her to some of her heroes.
There's a new kid in school--a sixth grade boy, apparently just moved into the city, puts on a tough front. Of course, there have been no fights on the playground--the Pax Kyler seems to be holding--but there is a fair amount of tension.
