I was curious. Are you allowed to get rid of your character sheet and start a new one? I don't want to, by any means, but I was curious about it. Like start over from world 1. I don't know why anyone would want to, now that I think about it, but I was wondering.
I could see doing that if, after you've been playing a while, you've changed as a person and can't effectively play your character as he is any more.
I don't allow it; but of course the rules aren't enforceable by law.
As to whether you might not be able to play your character anymore, first, that's why they call it "role playing"; second, a verser can become whatever he wants, if he puts his mind to it. If you don't like who you are, become someone else--throw out the equipment, get the physical changes reversed, stop using the skills and learn new ones, whatever it takes, become who you want to be.
John, who now calls himself Pharaoh, was for a time Kaiser Sohdze--because he knew that when you come to a new world, you are whoever you can persuade others to believe you are. It's really as simple as that.
