Why Spy, alternative worlds?

I was just thinking that a Why Spy beta world could be cool. A high-psionic beta world. Very few of the indigs have discovered psionics, and they want the verser to teach/use psionics for spy purposes. I mean imagine an agent with full psionic abilities, ya know? You're saying "But that would make it too easy." Would it? Just make the weapons that the enemy has that much harder. Or maybe they have a high psionic spy on their side as well. Also, there is always the ever-dreaded botch. I mean come on, if anything is possible, why not?

While we're at it, I bet a lot of the worlds would benefit from a high-psionics, high-magic beta world. Just a thought. I mean imagine a wizard on the Enterprise*. That could be so cool.

*In my opinion, the show Enterprise is the best of the Star Trek franchise. Star Trek The Wrath of Khan, and Star Trek First Contact are the two best Star Trek movies, respectively.

John, referees are invited and encouraged to create such worlds and world variants.

I run Why Spy straight, because it's already something of a candy-store world in the tech and bod areas, and it can become extremely difficult to get an entrenched character out. However, that does not mean I never would run a psi- or mag- high version of it. I just think those alterations make a much more drastic change in a world than most people realize.

If when you're running games you want to try that, go for it.
