I know there is a skill for teaching yourself. In real life, I am trying to teach myself to control my psychosis, through a combination of prayer, saying mantras, and other things of that sort. What is the Multiverser take on teaching yourself? I've been doing this therapy for about 2 1/2 years. That would be 2 1/2 years of practice, maybe one or two new uses, at best. Assuming I rolled it at 1@1, what is my SAL? I just like to think about how this translates into Multiverser.
We call that practice or learning, depending on the context.
One could argue that any time you read a book that teaches you how to do something, you are teaching yourself; you could argue that any time someone else teaches you and you apply the lessons from them you are teaching yourself. Ultimately, then, any time you learn anything you are teaching yourself--you cannot learn without that. Distinguishing teaching yourself from learning is not really practical.
Also, what you describe is closer to training than to teaching--that is, you've been using techniques that are specific to the task at hand. You would not so easily take these techniques and use them to teach yourself martial arts, or rocket mechanics, or anything outside what you are currently doing with them. Thus they are not really skills in teaching, but skills in managing psychosis, which is where this skill really falls.

Also, even if the question is just "how good am I at learning," that's already factored in with your BRA. If your goal is to get better at picking up new skills in general, increasing your BRA (or perhaps your bias) is about the only way to do it.
