Hi again. It's strange to be here.
A long time ago I kinda loved this place. About 10 years ago I started hanging out here.
I was once called Doc Fortune. This place was like.. the heart of a wonderful community. (I'm sure it still is, I just haven't been back in a while..)
I still own a Gaming Outpost t-shirt and I even wear it on hot days. It's a little ragged but I love it.
GO was off the radar for most people, but I loved it. I was talking to some new gaming friends over in another place and I started thinking about GO again. And I just had to come back and say hi and thank you guys. I see Aaron and Jacob Ezzell and even MJ Young are still around. ;) I see the codebase of the messageboard has changed. It's good! congrats.
So.. thanks. Thanks for everything. I want to start hanging around here again if I can.
It's quieter now, but I remember when this place was just starting. It was quiet then too, but it was brilliant.

When the universe ends, I think MJ Young will be the one who turns out the lights, puts the chairs on the tables, and locks the door as he leaves. Likewise for the forum.
Hey, Doc--you're one of those of whom I have fond memories, including our meeting at Clinton Nixon's for Apartment!Con.
We've kept Gaming Outpost alive, mostly with Multiverser stuff but some other stuff, too. Game Ideas Unlimited lasted almost four years until a computer crash at my end put an end to my notes for future columns and it was just too much to rebuild. Aaron, Jacob, and in theory Dutch are still working behind the scenes, but they're all very busy (if I've got them properly connected, it's law school, nursing school, and the navy that keeps them otherwise occupied), but they make a point of building up this site, and have offered to add anything we need. So our "official" Multiverser presence is still here, and we talk about other stuff sometimes, too.
