Harry said something in a recent game thread that struck me as the sort of thing that captures some of the essence of the Multiverser game; this is on top of the fact that I'd come upon two such lines brand new in the past week and had been trying to remember them. So I thought I'd make a list of a few here that I do know, and who first said them as well as I can remember, and see if people have some they would add.
Of course, when we first started, Ed called this "The Game of Alternative Adventure" and I called it "The Game System Game System", both of which wound up on our title page.
Then "Big Bill" Friant added a couple. He's the first one to have said "Where will you end up next?", which was on our mouse pad for a while. He also gave us the great slogan that is on our coffee mugs: "Ever get the feeling you've never been here before?"
David Marcoe gave us the one on the long-sleeved shirts. It's not exactly the same as his original, but it reads, "One hundred words traveled...one hundred trillion to go."
I remember one of the two I thought of this week, but I'm not certain whether I said it or one of my sons: Be Yourself.
If I think of the other, I'll add it.
Meanwhile, Harry said, "A couple hours of my vast eternity wasted." Made me laugh, and captures something of the game.

That was Kelly Keck's contribution although I've paraphrased it.
Supposedly H. Beam Piper believed that he had been born on an alternate timeline. He wrote "Fuzzy Sapiens" maybe, and "Lord Kalvan of Otherwhen" which is a rather entertaining alternate universe and gunpowder story with a rather unusual twist in its setting. You might be able to come up with a line based on such an idea.
I've also wondered if Leonardo da Vinci with his great skill, and his too futuristic plans was a verser still not properly understanding bias levels.

One thing that struck me with Multiverser was how it freed my mind to examine far different stories than I had before.
....Free your mind. Put down the D20, pick up 3D10....
Another thing that interests me is....do the indigs who call themselves human mean the same thing as I mean?
sooooo....."I know you say you're human, but what do you mean by that?" or "Define your terms when you ask 'Are you human?'"
And....
"No, I'm not a god, although I have been mistaken for one by a primitive tribe of wolfmen."
And....
"Am I an angel? Well an angel comes from outside the universe, has special powers, is immortal, but fears damage, and is sent by the Creator. I don't think I'm an angel, but the shoe does fit."

"I believe in life after life after life. No I'm not a Buddhist."

"Versers are the needle and thread that hold the Multiverse together."

"After the first thousand years, and hundred deaths you kinda forget what its like to be afraid. Well, until you meet Cthulu. Then you remember all over again."
