Every time you verse, you go and stand before the god, deity, or higher power of your belief. Or in the case of people with no faith, The One True God. (More than I want to get into right now) The deity tallies up all of the "points" that you earned in that world. Good deeds, honorable actions, whatever that deity chooses to consider "Good Points" Then, the deity reconstructs your body and equipment, and chooses the next spot to test you. Upon verse-in, you are left with no memory of the event. Your versing ends when you have earned enough "points" to earn entry into their paradise. Thoughts?
Well, my first thought, quite honestly, is that is really very much contrary to everything I understand about Christianity. If that were the reality of the multiverse, Christianity would be false.
That then tells me that it's not the way the multiverse is, because although it might be so for some of some faiths that their god is keeping score, it is not so for this faith, and since in fairness this must also be true, it's not the answer.
Also, you overlook the fact that not all are good--not even all the gods are good. It is within the realm of imagination that the anarch gods might be tallying the evil points--but what are the neutral gods tallying? Are you getting credit for refusing to become involved? That might work for some; but at least some of the neutral gods are so because they are waiting to see who is going to win before committing to either side. What are they tallying?
Your versing ends when you enter the deep supernatural of your own affiliation. When or how that happens is to some degree up to you, to some degree up to opportunity, and to some degree up to your deity.

One of my deities, the Bird of Paradise, of the sub-group of Neutral deities called the Fey, offered to Tadeusz several "products" including Cool as the Meaning of Life. Thus if you were one of his followers, and you demonstrated "Cool", then he'd appreciate that. Being uninvolved or involved is not the key thing with him.
It was just a weird thought that I had when I was doing psychosis therapy. I have a lot of those.
