Is it just me...or is my Equipment post not showing?
It's not just you. Sometimes posts that look like lists get blocked by the forum software (for some reason that must have made sense to the programmers). The proper thing to do in that situation is what you've just done: call attention to the invisible post in another thread.
You're more likely to get the issue resolved quickly if you post about it in the Gaming Outpost Talk section, though; I'm told that's the only place Aaron checks.
The Multiverser forum is fine for that; since I'm a moderator I have the power to bring into view hidden posts, and to give instructions concerning what to do with them.
I'm not entirely certain what happened on the Character Generation thread. The first post said something like
(duplicate post)and the next two were completely empty. The fourth had the equipment in it. It might be that the multiple posts confused the system, particularly when followed by the list. I've deleted the blanks and approved the list. But yes, I don't always know that they're there if someone doesn't alert me to this--the system keeps the "deleted" and "marked spam" posts in the database, and the head of the thread will say something like
199 Posts (+4 more)those four being the ones that are either flagged as suspect, marked as spam, or deleted. I don't remember from week to week how many dead posts are in any given thread, so I don't hit the link to show the hidden ones unless someone posts to alert me.
One of the minor glitches.
