We had a nice fireworks party held by a churchmember out by his ponds. The poor fish got bombed as kids tossed small boomers into the smaller pond. We had smoke coming from the pond, and bright flashes of circular light kinda like depth charges. Later, Jer, took out his private collection of powerful fireworks...one had separate explosions and then parachutes. I was pretty impressed by that time. But then the official fireworks went off and the Ladyfaire said she had seen not as good fireworks displays at large cities.

Too bad the old Southern tradition of fireworks at Christmas is barely existent. But we saw a couple of other displays that were good as well so the 4th is doing well.
