What level of strength do you suppose it would take to be able to easily fold in half a metal-frame, queen sized bed, with mattress and box springs, with a person laying on top of it? Take the head side in one hand, the foot side in the other hand, and fold it in half like it were a piece of paper? What strength level would be required?

That sounds to me like a stunt in the 3@ range, but I might allow it on a successful difficult strength check for someone in the high 2@ range.
And no, I don't recognize the movie; I want to say it's one of the Incredible Hulk movies or possibly something with Ben of the Fantastic 4, but I don't think I've seen the scene.

Did you see the part about the guy laying on the bed? The guy laying on it was laying on his stomach, and was broken in half, backwards. Like I said, I seriously doubt you've seen, or even would see the movie.
You didn't see it. The person/creature who did the folding just bent it like it was nothing. What strength would you have to be where it wouldn't be a strength check? 3@what?

It would always be at least a strength check, I think, but you have to understand that once you get into the 3@'s, even a "difficult" strength check isn't all that difficult anymore. A character with 3@5 strength passes the difficult check four times out of five, and a character with 3@8 passes nine times out of ten.
I think, though, that if someone were in the bed it would need to be some kind of attack, which would mean a skill check. Strength is a relevant attribute for Bod and a component in Martial Strike Value, though, so a superhigh strength would still be an asset.
That same person/creature put 6 dents in a steel fire door with its bare hands. OK, so it was wearing work gloves, but still.
Eh screw it, the move was Freddy vs. Jason. Jason did that to one of his first victims. Stabbed him in the back a dozen or so times with a machete, then folded the bed in half. I think it was the most original kill I've ever seen in an FT13 movie.
Oh, Jason does that shtick all the time.
I've seen all the movies. Most of them several times. I don't believe Jason ever folded a bed in half. It just wasn't the same without Kane Hodder playing Jason though.
And for those who aren't fans, Kane Hodder is a stuntman and actor who played Jason in FT13 parts 7-10, the only actor to have played the role more than once. He holds several records for dangerous stunts, including having over 100 pounds of gunpowder squibs strapped to his body for a shootout sequence.
Not that specifically; equally inhuman and unbelievable acts.
And those inhuman, and unbelievable acts are what draws people to the theater.

I find movie special effects to be fascinating. I've met Tom Savini twice* and I have a great deal of respect for their craft. It oftentimes takes upwards of 12 to 16 hours to set up the makeup for a 30 second death scene. And if the guy flubs his lines, or something goes wrong, guess what? They gotta go back and do the whole thing ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!! (Excited screaming) but what a 30 seconds when the movie comes to print...... That's art, man. I don't get frightened by movies hardly at all. I recognize it for the artwork that it is. Besides, I've seen actual video footage of actual shootings and whatnot, and it isn't (usually) nearly as gory as the movies portray.
