wow, awesome stuff!
^ New post above.
OOC: If your eyes are brown, then its light blue. If your eyes are blue, then the new one is so dark brown as to be black. Sasuke? Neji?
And thanks, Niko for both of us.
You detect other versers at a number of widely varrying vectors.
You push on. Several miles further, you see in the distance a group of slow-moving people gathering things. Getting closer, about three miles away, you can see that its a large collection of headless humanoids picking up 'litter'.
However, Samas points back the other direction. You can see three Nazi Tiger tanks making the run through the Wide Pass.
OOC: Sasuke is a ninja in Naruto, has the Sharingan, copies moves, does illusions that draw people in, can create an avatar, make black fire that consumes, Neji is another Ninja from Naruto, has the Byakugan, a 340 degree vison, that sees miles, can see chakra lines in people and can pin point strikes to hit them and disable them. I have blue eyes, so Dark Brown as to be black.
*looks ahead and behind, seeing problems, but knowing to deal with the move immediate one first*
"Samas how many missiles do you have? *whatever number she says, going to go with the below*, we can deal with what is ahead of us after we deal with the tanks. They are slow but still faster than our top speed, I think their front armor is heavy back a little less. The plan is to get inside, and take control of the last tank, and aim for the turret of the second, and first, then worry about disabling them completely. We can't let three tanks get behind us. Sakura and Ce Ce, you pilot the sailcar, Samas and I will coat our boots with grease from the toolboxes and hold onto the sides. Sakura, your job is to use your Illusions to make us appear not to be there. We get to the Third tank, Ce Ce cuts open the hatch, we board, take over, and I can figure out how to fire the main gun, while Samas helps you girls reload. It's a shakey plan but we have to do something about those tanks."
"points to Vina and makes gestures to stay out of sight, and keep tabs on the others heading this way slowly"
*puts on his magnetic boots to enact the plan and greases up the bottom*
Jhiaxus
Given that the Iron Plains of Kharigen are well, iron, I'm thinking the magnetic boots might serve as a considerable or fairly so brake on forward movement. Thoughts??
Samas has seven.
((OOC: I out of game know it is iron, but in game, just got hardest thing you've walked on, so if my boots do stick to them, will be my clue that they are iron, and will also have an effect on things like tank treads))
*sees his boots stick to the ground and looks to the tank treads, knowing metal on metal is hard, the tanks will be lucky to be going half speed to get any torque to move, proceedes with the plan, knowing they will catch up quick, greasing up his normal boots instead, only needing to slide for half as long as he thought*
Jhiaxus
What are Kara and Vina doing?
Sakura says she has the group cloaked in illusion, but you see nothing. Its very unnerving sailing alongside a flimsy sailcar toward a massive Tiger tank with what your eyes insist is full exposure to sight.
Ce Ce leaps lightly to the tank side, and quickly advances to the turret top. Click-hiss.
You leap on board, and so does Samas. The crash of her armor is loud, and suddenly the tank swerves. She's off over the side with a squawk. You're driven to your knees.
Ce Ce is cutting into the hatch in a large circle with her saber. Its not instantaneous because the tank metal is tough...
'Twenty seconds.' Ce Ce mutters.
*Kira and Vina are keeping an eye on the undead doing their thing, keeping out of sight till we come back, caught between a rock and the hard place we had to deal with the rock first*
*pulling out the bowie knife and holding on to a solid piece as she does so, turning on my shield, knowing gunfire will ensure, ready to jump in the hatch and ready to pull out the Skorpian SMG with the hand he is holding on with right now*
"Sakura, keep up the illusion till we are inside, then circle back and stay with Samas, and keep both of you hidden with the illusion. Samas will know when to use her missiles on the other tanks. Good luck and Godspeed."
*says a prayer to Odin in his mind for luck in the upcoming battle*
Jhiaxus
Ce Ce opens the hatch, and her light sabre flashes as a Sten gun chatters from inside the tank. Sparks fly from her sabre, and then she tumbles back, and off the tank with a cry of pain.
You're not able to find a niche to grab on, but the tank's next swerve is hesitant and predictable so that you're able to flow with it.
You hear shouts in German from inside the tank through the sliced open hole in the turret. The Sten gun has stopped firing.
*jumps in through the open hatch, worried about controlled bursts from the Skorpian, not wanting to destroy the consoles, but at this point not caring about the crew, they have caused at least two of his team to be injured, and not wanting them to get the chance again.*
*If they do the smart thing and surrender, I won't shoot if knife them to death, not into cold blooded murder against surrendering people, if that is the case*
"Sprechen Sie Englisch?"
*if they surrender, direct them to fire where I want them to, and I will let them know that cooperation means survival, I can make that clear in any language*
*If they aren't surrendering or coorperative, see below*
*will knife anyone who tries close combat, shoot the others, if they disarm me will punch em with my belt on, to make all my punches lethal*
*once they are dealt with, goto the main gun controls and get them centered on the tank in front of us, right at the back base of the turret meets the main body of the next tiger tank in front where the ammo box is and fire*
*hoping Samas has his back shooting the first tank with a missile or 2*
((Before you ask, I have driven a Tiger Tank in Call of Duty, and Medal of Honor. I have seen the controls, and movements, and have taken a year of German in school. I also know to load the ammo, so whatever amature example you wish to give that, go ahead))
Jhiaxus
You hear curses in German and exhortations to 'kill'. The chances of surrender seem rather slim.
When you inquire if they speak English...
One shouts back.
"Die, Amerikaner, pig." Well, that question is answered.
You dive into the hole, and a man at the bottom has a Sten submachine gun pointing up, ready. He fires. You're going so quick that only three bullets have a chance to hit you. All hit, one in the chest which the shield absorbs, one in the face, and one in the head as the gun
'walks up.' The second shot nearly collapses the shield in front of your left eye, and dribbles off your shield. You impale him with your knife, pinning him to his seat. Your head armor shrugs off the last shot.
His eyes glaze over.
The knife is stuck in the metal back of the seat, so great is the force of the thrust.
The tank commander shoots you from his seat with his Luger, twice. Once shatters the shield,a nd the second hits your shoulder throwing you back against the wall of the tank. There's very little room in here, and two more guys.
((OOC: Being Germans, I don't see them using a British Submachine Gun, The Sten uses the same magazines as the German MP40, and that would be 99.95% of tank crews would issued one.))
*pulling his Skorpian to bear and shooting them both*
"Boring conversation anyway"
*going to assume that that I will survive this, and do my above plan that they have one round loaded in as standard policy and I will at least get one shot off on the tank in front of me before I can expect them thinking about returning fire*
Jhiaxus
You fire and hit the tank commander, but not fatally, and stitch the driver to the steering handle. The tank commander fires back, or tries too. His gun explodes in his hand. He reaches for the driver's gun in a scramble. And you finish him.
You check the tank turret, and Ce Ce's slicing, or one of the bullets flying around has disabled the turret's spin function. And the swerving and lack of driver has allowed the tank to start to wander off about twenty degrees from the course of the other tanks so that you have no shot.
There is of course, a heavy machine gun on a manual swivel, but you know that its not going to penetrate the armor of a Tiger.
The controls in the tank look fairly familiar from your games. Some things are done a bit differently than what you're used too.
*grunts, well this is a one shot point and shoot then*
((Woot some luck))
*yanks the knife out so as not to stab himself with it when he sits down to drive, turning the tank to be in line with the one in front, if the turret is set at home position, should be aiming straight for the back of the turret in front of it, when that is done, if I think the turret hasn't been itself compromised, I will hit the command to fire, slow the tank to a stop, grab the machine gun, magazines, any grenades I see, and make my way out*
*climb up and out of the tank, looking for my friends, hopefully them responding my seeing missiles hit the other two tanks*
Jhiaxus
You swerve back in line, and blow the turret off the next tank in line. The front tank starts wildly swerving, and it takes three of Samas' missiles to knock it out. The first misses, and the second two hit and not on the treads or turret, and its such a stout vehicle that it resists her missiles for a bit until it finally explodes.
All three of the Tigers are done. You see your friends in the distance, and two pyres of smoke racing into the sky. You've stopped the tank, and Sakura is going back to collect those who fell.
Shortly thereafter, everyone is back at your tank, and Sakura is starting the healing process on Ce Ce who got shot in the right shoulder.
*concerned for Ce Ce, going to assume Kara and Vina come meet up with us*
"I'm sorry, I didn't expect such fierce resistance in the tank, I should have gone first and absorbed the blow."
*looks around*
"You guys did great, we conserved some missiles, we stopped, three of the worst war machines Nazi germany developed, and we have a tank now. The best part is your all alive, and for that I am thankful"
*looks at the tank and grimaces*
"Normally I don't dispose of the dead in such a fashion, but with a necromancer, might be best for me to pile up the corpses on the other two burning tanks, so they can't be used against us."
*will take any guns, ammo off these guys, seeing how bad the ruger is, taking it reguardless*
"Ok we all need a well deserved lunch. Samas, and I will work on repairing the turret, if worse comes to worse, and it can't be fixed, think you can adapt your systems to shoot 88mm shells? We can still use the tank for transportation as well as the sailcar, and the Tank has a nice machinegun to help with the undead in front of us. So much death and destruction here, and worst of all, the undead are gathering the dead, and the items to make the Soviet Man stronger. We need to stop both, kill the undead, retrieve some upgrades for us."
*smiles and hugs everyone after they are healed*
"Damn good work out there, after my last world, I had some doubts, but a good team can overcome much. We still have a lot of enemies ahead of us, we just take it slow and steady, take away his resources and add to our own, and we have a chance to last the week."
*pulls out his holy symbol and kisses it*
"Thanks Odin, for granting us the boon of survival in that battle"
Jhiaxus
The bodies are burned. Vina dances a little for them.
Everyone is ready and at the same time considering what they could have done better.
"I am not used to fighting weapons with automatic firing." Ce Ce says. "Our energy pistols recharge cycle is slower. Next time, I won't be caught off guard."
You don't know if she's for real or deluding herself.
Taking the tank, you advance toward the headless undead. You're able to drive it with the tank commander's control with your head sticking out of the turret if you like.
Up ahead, you see a dozen headless zombies. They are toting on their backs the dead bodies of some people who look like Vina. They are also picking over a crashed Spitfire, taking whatever looks like it might be useful. Sakura's illusions don't seem to affect them. But neither does your presence. They continue working.
"I thought we left this world when we died." Sakura says.
Vina speaks rapidly and lowly with great intensity. His eyes are bulging, and his face is red. His hand is on his tomahawk.
*to Ce Ce*
"It takes awhile to be able to deflect that many projectiles, in the movies I saw, which were thousands of years after your time, the droids has automatic fire beam weapons. I do know the Jedi had at that point different stances for different purposes, one for deflecting beams, another for dueling another Lightsabre user. Perhaps that is what you go back to create"
*considers*
"My shield belts are spent and with no sun to recharge my solar blanket, and I don't know if I can get the trickler to do it either, will need to have to worry about projectiles more now."
*to Sakura*
"The undead are immune to illusions, and as for leaving this world when we die, since this is a dream for you, this body is just a shell, a copy of what you have. If you are able to loot your enemy in the battlefield, they must leave it behind. Either way, these men fought the good fight, even their "copies" deserve the peace they earned."
*puts his hand on Vina's shoulder to calm him down and reassure him we are going to do something about it right now, and that he shouldn't jump in*
*puts the tank in park and mans the Machine Gun, leveling it at the zombies, and taking short controlled bursts to conserve ammo, noting the spitfire should use the same gauge ammo as this gun, wishing they has heads to make eye contact*
*when they are "done", help Vina gather the bodies of his friends and burn them proper, as well as the zombies. Whenever I see a head on a pike, I will look at it, to return it to rest*
*The plan is Vina and Samas reloading the main gun, I can instruct him about the shell, where the shells are, and the parts to move, Kara is manning the maingun, Ce Ce and Sakura are manning the sailcar, which I hope to improve with parts of the spitfire*
*I believe the Tank has a crew of 4, so would assume 4 hammick tie off beds, so at least not sleeping on the Iron tonight when we sleep, which will be a vast improvement*
Jhiaxus
"Droids with weapons are not that common where I'm from." Ce Ce says, and you can tell she is thinking about what you said, and trying to imagine a better stance for dealing with rapid-fire as she looks off into the distance, and begins to do a sort of dance. Its slow and awkward. Sakura comes over to help her.
The headless zombies attack when you start firing. Little good it does them. They're still twitching when you toss them on the fire made from the gas in the Spitfire.
Vina dances around his friends for an hour, and then stone-faced helps toss them onto a separate fire.
You're able to loot the Spitfire for shells. But wouldn't a Heavy Machine Gun take .50 calibre machine gun bullets and a Spitfire's autocannons take 20 mm shells? Samas wonders if she can take one of the Spitfire autocannons and mount it to her armor.
There are no heads, but those of Vina's friends, and they're not undead yet. They've been spared that indignity.
You have to show Vina as he does not understand English. He has no natural feel for what is being done. Its as if he's never seen a machine more complicated than a bow before.
Even the armor of the Tiger is softer underfoot than the Plains of Kharigen. The hammocks are heavenly.
How do you plan to improve the sailcar?
You're sleeping.
"Wake up! Zombies attack!" Samas yells. Its her watch. Her alarm is reinforced by her blaster thrumming through the twilit.
*to Ce Ce in his Yoda voice*
"They will be young padawan, they will be"
*smiles*
*considers and looks at the auto cannons and they are defiantly smaller than the tanks, and gets out the tools and takes out the assembly*
"Were you thinking of a shoulder mount? We could take the ammo drums and mount them to your back and have the cannon on your left shoulder, with the ammo feeding from the drums, the plane used a electric trigger for the firing mechanism, you can do the same with your armor. You would defiantly be a force to be reckoned with then. I like it, let's do it."
*helps Samas modifier her armor, and gets some hands on experience with the systems*
"I'm thinking he's having them gather the techology, weapons and equipment. That's why we aren't finding much. If that's the case, he will likely keep for himself all the most powerful things, we will need to be wary, even with a tank about what he can unleash."
*shows Vina, by opening the firing chamber, taking and dumping the old casing, getting the new casing from the ammo bin, and closing and locking the chamber. I will put the old casing in and do it a few times, then let Vina do it till he can do it without a problem*
*at dinner and before bed, will with the help of the girls, begin to teach him terms slowly, begin with weapons, then small things, boy, girl, pronouns, have associations, and demonstations, like "walking" and start to walk, "running" and start to run. Trying to get him more comfortable, and having him try to understand us*
*For the sailcar, going to replace the crappy mast with a strut from the spitfire, just use the metal from the spitfire to make the sailcar more study, without increasing the weight. I will have Ce-Ce practice being gunner, since Sakura can't handle weapons, we have multiple charged magazines, might as well get her some practice so the laser cannon isn't just a hood ornament. I know she's a Jedi and uses a lightsabre, but they also fly in fighters, and use lasers, even Obi-Wan was forced to use one*
*waking up quickly, without his weights or armor, grabbing his axe and bowie knife and going out to help Samas, uncovering his eye, hoping to use that against them and heading to the sailcar, planning on using the laser cannot against them. If they enter into melee, use my Axe in one hand, the bowie knife in the other and go into Drow Bladedance*
"Don't let them surround you, everyone grab a buddy, Sakura backup Ce Ce, Kara your my backup, Vina *points to Samas and makes a gesture to protect her*"
Jhiaxus
The guns are mounted on her shoulders, and the drums on her back, but something is interfering with the smooth flow of shells. You can fire one, and then move by hand the belt, and fire another. And sometimes the belt flows smoothly, but mostly not.
The others agree with your assessment of what they're likely facing.
"I expect he's making new headless zombies from other 'copies'." Kara says. "And I've fought zombies before, and while they're um, not bright, these ones are really, really dumb."
"Probably the lack of a head." Sakura says. "Wonder why this Man of Steel does that."
It takes Vina a while, but he's patient, and he eventually gets it. After that, he does it over and over again about three dozen times with glee on his face. The word lessons run much easier. It seems he knows several languages already, just not English or Spanish.
The mast replacement goes sweetly, and you're satisfied that you've improved the sailcar. Ce Ce modifies the laser cannon to use low power, and then puts the mast on the side of teh Tiger tank. She and Sakura then practise strafing runs. The mast eventually catches on fire, and practise is over.
You vault up out of the hatch behind Sakura who moves like lightning and water mixed together. Up on the Tiger's top, you see that you're surrounded by zombies. Its not that many, somewhere, perhaps twenty or thirty.
They are all headless.
You swing your axe at one climbing up the tank side. Cleaving off an arm, you see the thing fall off. Samas power blasts one near the nose of the tank. Its now in two parts. Sakura dodges one that has partially clambered up the bank of the tank.
*considers the gun issue*
"It might just be that they are designed for a Jet, well one shot is then fix is better than none, when we take a break tomorrow, we can take apart the drums, grease them back up, check the feeding ramps on the cannons, and the timing of the electric trigger and try it again. We'll fix it, just may take some time."
==================
"That is an interesting question Sakura, and one we need to find out. It doesn't make them any less dangerous, but at least they aren't Solomon Grundy. I do think the key is finding the heads and letting me use my eye on them. I think if we do that the body they control also "dies". That's my theory anyway."
*watching Vina and smiling and giving him a clasp on the shoulder for a good job*
*happy the sail car is working better, and that the girls are doing well adapting to it's strengths*
==============================
*accesses the situation*
"Everyone pick a side on the tank, protect your side, Kara, I wouldn't suggest punching these, use the cutlass and help Sakura in the back, Ce Ce you and Vina take the right side, Samas you have the front, I have the left side"
*putting away the super bowie knife, and taking the axe in both hands and using it like a pendulum, making wide sweeps perfect for it's double bladed head, and not having to worry about someone next to him to interfere with it's movement*
Jhiaxus
You keep your side clear, and the zombies just come to the tank, and attack. But, to your dismay, you see one that you split in half, laying on the ground, drag itself back together, stand up, and require some more of the Axe.
Most are down by now, with a few shambling toward the tank, but all of them are dragging themselves back together.
Kara is the only one injured with some dirty fingernails piercing her left calf muscle.
*looks at the zombies and gets an idea*
"Everyone hold on, I think we need to make them two dimensional"
*goes in the tank, starts it up and starts running them under the treads, going forward, turning 20 degrees, back and forth till they and the iron steel of the ground are one*
*assuming this will take care of the threat, and keep them from moving together*
=========================
*examining Kara's thigh* "Your costume leaves little to the imagination, and when your not super, it leaves you way too exposed. I have also played video games and seen movies where just the wounds of a zombie make others, going to plea to Odin for Cure Disease on you, just to be safe. Don't think of it as a date or anything, although I couldn't refuse if it was. *winks*
*grasping his holy symbol with one hand, the wound with another, preying to Odin to cure this warrior of any disease she may have caught from battle, saying that our victory is a testiment to Odin's will.*
Jhiaxus
It does squish them. They lay there, not moving.
+@2 bonus to your driving skill if below 2@, and 2 marks up otherwise. As I'd say driving a tank is a new use, and riding over something on purpose to squish it is another.
You check on Kara's leg, and make the comment, and she blushes.
Some nasty gunk that stinks worse than skunk juice drips out between your fingers, and the wound closes.
"The bodies are moving, Jhiaxus." Sakura says. You look, and although its slow, yes, the zombies are regenerating. Now, that things have slowed down, you realize there are not twenty or thirty, but only twelve.
1@2 Cure Disease, full body, kneel, hand on holy symbol, hand on wound, vocal prayer to Odin, appropriate.
*smiles as he was granted the ability to cure disease and takes off his duster and hands it to Kara*
"Never let it be said I can't be a gentleman sometimes. I disown this duster, use it well."
*grins*
"I wish I had an extra set of armor for you to wear, or that you are my size, so I guess you will just have to let me be the gentleman and be your shield. *winks*
*getting some rubbing alcohol and getting the gunk and smell off my hands*
"In all seriousness, I think that could have turned bad Kara, I know in most worlds, your used to being invulnerable and the strongest around, here, your relatively normal. What I'm trying to say is that I care, and I don't want to see any of you get hurt."
*turns his head toward Sakura's comment*
"Crap, rest time is over, Sakura and Ce Ce, man the sailcar, the rest in the tank. It looks like we are blitzing the last few miles to the other base. A moving tank is a better defense than a non moving one. Sakura, give the undead a wide berth, don't be a hero out there, stick close to us."
Jhiaxus
You run hard for the other base. Its at least ten miles away. Being careful, you swing around clots of undead. Some are working at salvaging. Others appear to be laying for you and yours, but with the speed of the tank and the sail car, and the wide open spaces you can outmaneuver them.
And then you see four men in plate metal armor with longswords surrounded by three dozen zombies. The knights are fighting viciously with an athletic brutality, using their swords to pierce, or chop, and their hilts to bash back a foe. Its not at all like what you expected from a knight from TV. They're far more agile and they use their sword almost like a quarterstaff, and willingly drop to their knees to slice the legs off their enemies, before bouncing back to their feet like they're made of rubber. Which in this world, might be possible.
But even though they can keep the foe back, the simple problem is that the zombies regenerate. And although the knights seem tireless, unless they actually are, eventually they're going to be toast.
OOC: Michael Crichton in 'Timeline' had an interesting description of knights. And I've seen some TV stuff which shows knights uses their longswords in ways we're not accustomed to thinking them doing so.
*seeing the Knights surrounded making his Blitz of the base signaling Ce Ce and Sakura to cut a path on their left, giving them enough room that if they miss, that they won't hit the knights, leaving the drivers seat to cut down the ones on the right again leaving himself room to miss and not hit the knights with the machine gun while yelling*
"Good knights, these zombies must be killed by their heads that aren't here, the necromancer that made them is likely in the base ahead. I would hate to see your effort wasted, let us join forces, we are stronger together than we are apart. What say you?"
*impressed with their fighting, not quite seeing anything like it*
((OOC: Can't say I have seen it or read about it, I will google timeline and see what it says))
Jhiaxus
Ce Ce fires her laser at ankles and legs figuring thats the best way to easily cripple the zombies. Her targets topple right and left with two of them catching fire. Your method is less artistc and more brutal. You walk the machine gun up and down on the right, and send body parts arcing all over the place.
Once you stop firing, the knights form a wedge and smash through the few in front of them. Behind them are a kid and a yellow creature in his arms, and a young hippie chick who follow close on their footsteps. Zombies stagger to their feet to follow them.
"Ho, ally, give us and our protected a ride, and we shall teach this necromancer a lesson together." Calls the lead knight in a French accent.
Ce Ce and Sakura have swung past the horde of zombies, and are stopped.
*nods in agreement*
"You all are welcome on the Tank of Justice, I'm Jhiaxus, Hand of Odin, hop on and we'll crush the zombies with the Tank Treads of Indifference, it won't stop em, but it will make em a non factor while we deal with the source.
*to Kara in the hold*
"Does this count as a date?"
*grinning*
*will do the introductions when the tank and sailcar are together again, and the zombies are behind us*
"This is Ce Ce the Jedi Padawan, and Sakura of the village hidden in the leaves, This is Kara the Power Girl, Samas Aron, and this is Vina. We are surprised there are people still alive out here so close to the enemy base. Our mission is simple, take care of the evil between both bases, secure them for the week and arm and equip yourselves with what you find. We about a two and a half days in and made it from one base almost to the other, with most of our progress gotten after we liberated this tank. We have collected some food, I have some food and water. You are welcome to what we have.
Jhiaxus
"Water then, good sir." Says the first knight as he takes off his helmet. You see the cost of that physical activity. He is sheeted with sweat. Drops go off his nose about one every half-second.
The others are similiar.
"I am Roland, this is Jacquard, Morris, and Montesquie, my boon companions. And we had received a request to take these three doughty warriors to a place forty miles onward so that Alice here, can do a deed."
The hippie chick nods at her name.
"I'm Ash, and this is Pikachu." Says the young kid. "We were helping Alice when we got to King's Court Castle and the King gave us this escort. We've been travelling a long way, trying to dodge trouble."
"Pika." Agrees Pikachu.
As they introduce themselves, you run over the zombies which is good because you realize that Ce Ce and Sakura are not moving. The air is still and dead. No wind, no sailpower.
"Let me get back to you on that." Kara says.
*nods*
"Good to meet you all, drink up, we make the final push to the necromancer."
*looks at Ce Ce and Sakura, then down to Kara*
"Ok, will do, I do have a god credit card so I'm paying, long story."
*as they get close*
"Samas detach the laser, everyone else get the supplies off the sailcar, we'll pick it up again if it's still here on the way back"
*keeping a watch on how slowly the Zombies are coming up behind them to judge if he will need to fire or not*
*when everyone is on board with supplies, continue the blitz*
Jhiaxus
Three miles later...
You see a hill of plates of iron, and on top of it is a ring of triple stacked crushed cars (not the cubes, but the smashed in tops) with a gate that is a garbage truck with its axles flattened to the ground, and its back end opened. A large S curve of a roller coaster track leads up to the garbage truck entrance 'hall'.
You can see zombies going in and out of the hall, carrying bodies in, and supplies out.
Around the base of the hill is a low wall, four tires high (sideways) of interlocked and wired tires. Thirty yards back from the wall in four equidistant locations are pylons with heads on them.
More zombies move forward. Some add to the wall. Some carry guns, and set them up. Some walk up to the wall, and then lay down behind it, and some form up in a block group that is already forty strong.
As to weapons, you see a giant ballista on the fort, and a barrel of green glass tubing u p there as well. Inside the lower area you see a Civil War era gatling gun being attended by headless Confederates. Next to them, some headless red shirts have a half-dozen phaser rifles. Further on, you see a catapult set up by some headless Legionairres.
A head on a pylon greets you.
"My master, the Man of Steel, the benevolent father of his people, the unstoppable master wishes to make a treaty of peace with you for the betterment of all. What say you?"
*sees the defenses and knows that the likely hood of surviving such an onslaught even with a tank is less than stellar*
*do I feel a verser inside?*
"A treaty of peace, well how altruistic of him, I only deal face to face, and I'm not going to walk in through that gauntlet. Let him come out and at least introduce himself and outline this treaty. He has the advantage of numbers and firepower, so I think asking that is fair."
*waits for a response and gives the team hand signals saying he has this*
Jhiaxus
As you look around to give everyone the 'it's cool', signal you notice that Vina and Sakura are not there. Your two best sneakers are off sneaking.
Josef Stalin comes walking out of the gate. He's walking slow, and stepping carefully, but other than that, he looks like a middle aged dictator you're familiar with from history books.
He gives you a big smile as he gets close, and takes up a position where your tank cannon is not pointing at him. He's on the other side of the fence of tires.
"You know, you're not the first group that the Powers sent after me. I've turned Romans from the Ninth Legion, and Lee's boys, and Captain Riker's security squad into New Soviet Men. I almost turned some proto-Apache's from the Fourteenth Century into NSM, but you stopped that. You look surprised...could it be that the Powers lied to you? And if I have defeated these counterevolutionary dogs of the imperialist Powers with their insistence on antique notions of Good and Evil when ...." He pauses. "I'm sorry, just an old politician. I can give a good speech at the drop of a hat."
*looking at Stalin and how he is slow and stepping carefully toward the fence, and listening to his speech*
"I have no illusions about good or evil here, pulling people to do battle even if it is a dream to them isn't exactly the good I've come to know. I do have questions, mostly for my own curiosity, and any talking by us for peace is going to need those questions answered for my need to know. What is the purpose of making the zombies without heads, and what do you do with them? Oh I do have to tell you, you came very close to stepping on one of your landmines when you were walking out. I'm also interested in how your making regenerating zombies, I assume that they turn people through wounds, self replicating then, but how did you make the first batch, and how do you control them without the heads, seems it would be a very dangerous proposition?"
*trying to read his mind through all the questions to get the real answers to my questions and try to discern a weakness in the undead*

You try and get nothing, digging deeper you try again... and...
...this Amerikanski thinks he is clever. I will not tell him my secret to making zombies. Nor my other secret. Hah, hah, not so clever, no landmines. He does not know what I am. The power of the zombie resides in the head, without the head being destroyed the body cannot follow. So it must regenerate....
"I have the heads hidden. But I shall be generous, the zombie does not turn another, it only spreads disease which kills. As to how I make them, I have power of death."
...you get an image of a room with heads in it....
OOC: Oh, yes, New use. Stalin is not exactly human.
*nods and smiles*
"That is good to know, so you control them, very powerful indeed, so what are your terms? I mean lets say in the unlikely possibility you die, the undead would still exist and run amuk, so obviously that means I can't kill you, or I would have to struggle to deal with the zombies. The problem you have is that we are formidable, and you can't be absolutely sure you would win, or else you would just have tried to wipe us out. I'm just gathering enough information to make an informed decision, something you must be familiar with in all of your dealings."
*still keeping the mind reading going, almost have enough to formulate the right plan of attack*
Jhiaxus
He's not sure what would happen if he died. He thinks they would continue on with last instruction.
"Well, I could offer you some assistance with attacking a weaker force further down the line which you could capture easily, and then your Powers would just think you made an honest mistake of navigation. Win-win."
He's thinking that his zombies could betray and ambush you after the fight, or if that doesn't pan out, still, he doesn't care about the Hill of Serial Killers. Bunch of punks.
"Yes, but I need to get beyond you." Alice says in a deadly voice. She's fingering something on a necklace.
"Ah, so you're her. Well, I have no loyalty to That. You can merely take the easier hill, and make a fishhook of travel. Slightly longer, but vastly easier." Stalin says easily.
::Oh, ow, its Her!! Death's Girlfriend. I'm supposed to block her path or kill her.::
"Or I could blast you to smithereens." Alice replies angrily.
"I think if you could, you would have already."
::I'd be praying now if I weren't an atheist.::
*I believe I have spent enough time in his mind to "know" him a bit, waiting for Alice's distraction to take his attention off me and to her, and try to possess him hopefully with a bonus, saying a prayer in my mind for support for this action from Odin, as to give my team a shot to make our way to the head room to release all these poor souls to Valhalla, my team has been notified if I slump down in the past what that means, and unless they advance, I don't think the zombies will attack*
*If I am able to possess him, I will let them know that all is well, that to let me do what I can with what time I have in his body, and train the main cannon on me, have Samas missile the gatling gun, have Ash get Pikachu to lightning bolt the green tubing, while getting Alice to blast the legion and their catapult, while I take his body and reclaim the phaser rifles and toss them over the wall, but not to make any actions till I do my thing, and position myself for a well placed shell from the Tank Main gun*
*If the possession doesn't work*
"Counter offer, I read your mind, know your secrets and know your a cyborg. I never intended to make a deal with you, just needed to stall you. These good people and myself have fought through too much evil, saw too much carnage, to just let you live. Team pick a target and fire, Kara blow him away"
*I will pepper the security team with machine gun fire, knowing they are the most dangerous of the non siege weapon undead, once they are down, will TK the rifles to me, knowing that they won't stay down. I am confident in my team at this point and the knights are really good at keeping the melee enemy off, so have both contingencies is the possession doesn't work*
