"Fizgig trained me in a long time, somewhere that I can talk about yet. Tan is Fizgig's real form, and we spent that time getting to know each other. We never kissed, or had relations, out of my love and respect to you, only today we kissed, because how the memories shaped out. Tan is a good person, and we connected, you are a good person and we have a bond that can never be broken. Tan and I made a deal, we'd respect you, and get you up to speed out here, for the next part of training."

"Well it worked, we have the library, and I am going to need your help to sift through the knowledge. Oh and since you were patient, Tan's is Fizgig's true form, and we spent a lot of time together training to pull all this off. I love her, she loves me, and I love Val. Tan and I never kissed or did anything till a kiss earlier today because of the memories. That is the whole truth, so now you know."

OK. Val is confused. She asks, "Why would your respect for me have anything to do with how you treat Tan? I have two sets of memory.. I remember giving birth to our son and our daughters. Are they not our children?" She seems disturbed by the thought that these children she remembers birthing and raising are not her own; however, as the new memories were incomplete and the old ones were more distinct, she does not question which set are the wrong ones. /// Jewel, on the other hand, doesn't seem confused as she says, "It makes sense. So, you became the All-Ruler so that you could have two wives. I understand." She's being nastier than is necessary; probably at least partially due to the fake memories the two of you share. "So, you want me to go through the books in your library that the Four put here for you and look for a way to defeat the control the Four have over the world. I'm sure they put the secret to their defeat right under your nose." It's interesting, because she didn't act like this towards you before you were the All-Ruler; but in your "fake" memories associated with her, she's been like this to you, Val, Tan, and any other authority figure in her life for almost as long as she could walk; it's as if she entered the "terrible 2s" and instead of growing out of them grew further into them. (point taken, you make me sad with your inactivity on my day off. jk.)

"If you would have said no or had a problem, there would have been nothing with Tan, and she knows that. The first set is real, the second, is like a dream set, it's real and not real. We both knew that the children would be our responsibility, so I have no problem being a Father to them."

Val says, "I don't know why you'd think I'd be upset if you laid with another woman. Besides, I love Tan as much as you do. Don't I?" She shakes her head slightly, trying to figure out what's true and what isn't. /// Jewel crosses her arms, and responds, "Whatever. I'll go to the library, then."
*smiles*
"Val, spend time with Tan, and search your feelings, once you two talk and bond, you'll figure out that the dream memories are a nice stepping stone to reality. As for spending time with another woman, as a man, I know there is one thing you can never predict, the feelings of a woman on a given situation. Hugs and kisses her deeply."

Val kisses you back, still slightly confused in many ways, but not that one. /// Eria goes to your office with you and sits quietly with you while you sign papers; your memory tells you this is noral behavior for her; she's quite a 'daddy's girl', something Val and Tan have frequently been somewhat jealous of. The job is just as mundane as you remember; it seems as if every city in ever nation in the world needs your signature in order to do anything from constructing new buildings to issuing licenses to repairing sidewalks to passing new ordinances to wiping their own behinds (ok, maybe not the last one, but from your perspective with this mountain of paperwork in front of you, it seems a very poor setup). Eria seems as if she has something on her mind, you realize after an hour or so by her quietude and one-word responses.
*smiles and puts the papers down for a moment*
"What is it hun? You know you can talk to me about anything. I care about all of you."

"Well, daddy, there's a man I met who I think you should meet."
*raises his eyebrow*
"Really, well where is he?"
J
"He said lives on one of the empty floors in the castle. He's a very nice man, but I told him I can't talk to him cause he's a stranger."
*smiles and walks over gives her a hug and a kiss on the cheek*
"That's a good girl Eria, I think it's time I took a break from paperwork anyway. You find your brother, and get ready for training. Having a strong mind and body is the key to balance."
*gets Eria to give me the floor and head down*

You get to the floor, floor number ninety-nine. As soon as you set foot on the floor, you see a man here, with a small table, two chairs, coffee, cream, sugar, and bagels. He says, "Hello, Jhiaxus. I see Eria gave you my message." He sips his coffee and motions you to sit with him.
*smiles and sits down
"That she did, they are all good kids, who might I have the pleasure of speaking to?"

"I am Aegis. You want to speak to me." Very confident. He is wearing an old breastplate and bracers, what looks to be steel, and aged leathers. He seems middle aged, black hair with flecks of grey, amber eyes; as for a ballpark figure of age, his face has a quality of agelessness to it.
*grins*
"I want to speak to you because you piqued my curiosity, and it didn't hurt that you treated Eria better than most of the men in this world. So you are right, what do I need to speak to you about?"

"You want to speak to me because you have questions and I have answers. I know the questions you want to ask, but it is better to have a conversation." He sips his coffee again. He is still watching you.
*grins*
"Good since you know what I want, and what I need to know let's start off with getting to know each other. I'm Jhiaxus, Disciple of Odin, I am not from here, and am trapped here. I am a verser, I thought I was pretty powerful till coming here. I think that although I am not as powerful as Tan, I am more powerful all around. I like my personal freedom, which why knowing that I am trapped irks me. I didn't want to be All-Ruler, but I couldn't leave anyone there that wouldn't take care of those kids right.
*starts cutting and putting smutz on a bagel*

He nods. "I am Aegis. I was once human, but traded my soul in exchange for immortality, knowledge, and power. There was a time that I thought knowing everything would be the most interesting way to spend eternity possible. Instead, it is a torture the likes of which I had never imagined." His expression does not change even a fraction. He sips his coffee again nonchalantly.
*nods*
"I see, I must admit, I couldn't foresee myself being immortal any other way than being a verser. There are something I just wouldn't do. I glean that you think I might be able to help, and you can answer the questions I have."
*pauses with the bagel as the conversation has gotten interesting*
"You will break the hold of the Four on this world if that is your decision. Your start must be to help Eria become as she once was and not as she is. The process will be slow, as she will not be forced into changing the person she has become. The time it took to become as she now is, forged in hardship, so it will take her to become as she once was, pristine and unscarred. Her naivette is the key to unlocking the deathgrip the Four hold."
*nods*
"Thanks, I figured that had something to do with it. I will make sure she gets back to where she should be. I am assuming Jewel is made to be unreasonable to any All Ruler, causing lesser men to take it out on the kids, and keep the system in place. That much I figured out on my own. So what it is you wish of me?"

She's exactly where she said she'd be, in the library with Tan. Tan runs to you crying and buries her head in your chest. Jewel is reading a book pretending she didn't notice. She answers your question, "Eri? What do you want to know about her?"
*hugs and comforts Tan*
"It'll be alright hun, she's been programmed to hate ALL authority figures, it's to keep the All Ruler to never keep their part of the bargain, to treat the kids right. Just got to ignore what she says. You are tough you are Fizgig, get some rest, I'll take it from here.*
*As soon as Tan calms down and is ok, and leaves the room*
"I forgive you Jewel, I know you can't help yourself. You said to me once, she wasn't herself anymore, I wanted to know what she was like before all the abuse and trauma."
"Well, you know how she is now? She was different." She softens slightly. "She used to be a lot less competitive, a lot more girly. A lot more. We both used to wear skirts all the time; I haven't seen her in one since Celeste."
*Nods*
"That's a start, perhaps I need to heal the damage all the previous All Rulers did, Pay attention to her unlike Claude, Build up her self esteem and treat her like a girl unlike Celeste, be accepting, encouraging in private and public unlike Snow, not treat you two like sexual objects, but little girls who need love, unlike Bloodfang, and finally never raising a hand to either of you, and only showing love and compassion. Thanks you've been more of a help then you know. So going to help me pick out some outfits for your sister, I'm a guy, I don't do that well."
*seeing if positive reinforcement and involvement helps bring her around*

She shrugs, and protests, "She probably won't go for it anyway. Maybe Mom or Tan or Eri will go shopping with you."
"Maybe not but I made a promise to Jewel to lift the curse on you guys and I keep my promises, I just thought I'd offer to get you involved."
*start letting her spend time with me when doing paperwork, remarking what a pretty young lady she is, and paying attention to what she says. When I think she is ready, I will ask her if she would like to go shopping, pick up some new clothes?*

She talks to you often, mostly about sports. She wishes there were more kids her age around so she could play with them. She smiles when you tell her she's a pretty young lady and rolls her eyes, saying you only tell her that because you're her daddy. You think she appreciates the compliment, though. She agrees to go shopping with you with no problem; if that's where you're going, of course she wants to go too.
*smiles and has Tan with him to pick out clothes, I would have given both Val and Tan the talk that Jewel is not the same Jewel we got to know on the way here, she hates all authority, so no matter how mean, just respond with a smile, and love, and say that is not acceptable behavior and you forgive her.*

"You are pretty, you will make some lad happy when you grow up. Sports are nice, but what do you really enjoy doing Eria? I will have Tan and myself pick up new clothes for all, pants, skirts, dresses, shoes for the girls, and dress clothes, and casual for Nic."

Eria insists she really likes playing sports. She says, "I hope some day I can make YOU happy, daddy," looking at you with the stars in her eyes. The store is inside your castle, by the way. Nic and Jewel are more happy than Eria is; they all try on their new clothes, but Eria expresses discomfort at wearing skirts, saying that it's cold and she feels naked.
