"Trapped? Oh, you mean the dimension trap? I'm pretty sure that's blah blah this world is blah blah the eye of a dimension vortex blah blah blah something Mark said blah blah. At least, that's what I heard." Still the twinkle. "I don't think it has anything to do with Blade, Pain, Skelly, and Vize; if it did, they probabl would have left here a long time ago, but her curse," he motions to Jewel, "on the other hand, definitely does. I would say..." Shane has come over and joined you, and interrupts. "I would say Jewel is smarter than everyone in this room put together. Jewel?..." She looks reluctant, and David says, "No one can hear you other than the people in this room." She responds, "Vize has the power to take someone's spirit, but he must not have as much control over that as he would like, or he would have done that to my siblings and me. They're scared of us for some reason, which is why they keep us under surveillace; if our spirits were to get out there, it would be harder to track us, and if we were able to grow to full maturity, we'd be harder to manage. What I don't know, is why they're scared of us, or whether it's all of us they're scared of, or just one of us, but they don't want us to know which one it is." After a moment of silence, David quips, "I've been scared of you since I met you."
*smiles*
"I have no doubt she is that smart, and I am not scared of her. The question is why are all of you hold up here, and not helping Jewel and yourselves get out of this world? I have the immediate motivation of being separated from the woman I love, so I don't have the luxury of waiting.
*pauses*
"So we are going to go over this subject until we make a breakthrough. I have been visited by multiple beings, has one rooting around in my mind before I ejected it, and little in terms of answers. Surely there was someone there who knows what the stipulations of the curse were, and if they are still worried about them, and they can't be killed, it's something about them or what they can do, that can break it."

Jewel answers you, "I can't think of what it could possibly be. We can't use our powers unless we're angry, and mine is heat, Nic's is cold, and Eri's is electricity; none of those seemed to do anything to them when we were fighting before, other than to make them laugh at us." David speaks up, "Just throwing this out there: even if their curse is broken, it probably won't help solve the problem of being trapped in this dimension. I don't really mind being here, because I have everything I need; if there's someone you love out there somewhere, you might try talking to Mark or Jef and seeing if one of them can summon her here instead of trying to get out; if it's books you want, Sefyr's got a massive library."
*sighs*
"I completely overlooked that I can't teleport myself out, but I could teleport her in. Excuse me for a minute".
*walks outside*
"Going to do a M13@7 Teleport Creature In, she should be willing, and tagged, so all that is needed is a good roll. Use full body, saying Words Forcefull: Bring ________ to me, for 60 seconds, should be 10 doublings of a normal 6 second cast time. Walking around in a circle wide enough for the creature and belongings to come with."

Spell is +85, no need to roll. Valera appears in the circle wearing the garb of a ninja; she looks around furtively as if for pursuers, seeming disoriented, spots you and leaps into your arms, peppering you with kisses. "I missed you so much!" she cries.
*smiles and holds her and kisses her deeply*
"I missed you too my beloved, how long has it been for you? It's been a day for me."
*looks her up and down*
"A ninja, must be some story, smiles"

She says, "It's been a very long time, actually; I've been to three other worlds. The one I was just in, I was a ninja helping to give money to the poor; that was similar to the world before that, where I met a rogue named Robbing Hood and helped him give money to the poor; and before that a man hunted and killed me for sport." The last makes her uncomfortable by the look on her face.
*pulls her in and hugs her*
"If the last world wasn't my first I would have given you more information how time works. I am sorry for that. Your safe and your with me, and I'm not going to let you go."
*smiles*
"Now the bad news, we are trapped here till we find a way out. I was concerned the more time I spent here, the longer it would be till we are together. Let's go inside."
*beams*
"Everyone this is Valera, Valera everyone *introduce everyone by their name*"
*To Valera*
"I have more teleporting to do, to get your objects here, you can either stay here and brainstorm with the others or come outside with me."

Having no idea where or what the things are makes it complicated; several hours later, you've managed to get all the things you know of that belong to her. When you head back in, Jewel and Valera are talking, David is playing with another paddleball looking boredly at the fire, Shane is seated at his side, Jonny is in the corner sharpening his spear, and the little boy whose name you do not know is sitting down in another corner of the room with what looks like a glowing ice cube in his hand, focusing on it.
*walks in and sits down tired*
"Ok I'm calling it a day, that's everything I know belongs to you."
*looks around and sees everyone apparently bored*
"So is this what you guys do everyday? I spent a long time in a place where there wasn't much to do but train, and it was a lot to take in. Shouldn't we do something to try to free ourselves, or at least break Jewel and her siblings of the curse?."

David answers, "I would, but it would involve doing something." He's grinning to let you know it's a joke. "There isn't really anything to do that would be a challenge for me; sometimes I climb my mountain, but even that doesn't even challenge me anymore. I'm more a warrior than a politician, and could probably beat most armies singlehandedly. I don't really see it as being trapped as much as having made the most of my circumstances, and if Jewel doesn't know how to break free of her curse, I certainly don't. I've known Blade, Pain, Skelly and Vize since before they were the Four Warriors of Dusk, and I'm sure I could beat them all at the same time without breaking a sweat even without Shane and Jonny. I just sit here with my paddleball and try to beat my old record, 5,754,896. That's, what, 5,754,896 more than your record, right, Shane?" Shane nods absently, transfixed by the moving ball. David continues, "I almost beat it earlier today... right now I'm on 5,789, 90, 91..." he misses, sighs, and "1, 2, 3..."
*smiles*
"The challange is getting out of here to do something different again. I would love to sit here and hone my skills to the point of almost being a god, but where is the fun in that? I want to explore, I want to show Valera the joys that are out there. Whatever Jewel says or may say, she will admit deep down, she wants the curse to end and be free of this place. That is enough motivation for me to try. I may fail, hell I may never succeed, but I will be damned if I sit here on my ass and do nothing."
*sighs and stops*
"I am not trying to take it out on you guys, I just hate having freedom taken away from me. Whether it's freedom of choice, freedom of thought, or just freedom altogether. There is a library, and that's more information than I had before. Thanks for reminding me about the rules here, or else I would be trapped, and worrying about Valera, instead of just trapped, and for that you have my thanks."
*looks around*
"Is there space on your floor to put some sleeping bags for the night, or do we need to go outside?"
J
David says to Shane, "I think we've got a room no one's using, don't we?" The little boy says, "You're a real prick sometimes, David." David grins and says, "Well, let's go, Shane. Gotta build a new wing." Shane and David leave through the front door; about an hour later, the extension with three more rooms on the cottage is built and furnished.
*nods and grins*
"Well thanks for that, we do appreciate it, it would also be nice to have somewhere to tag in order to teleport back to if need be."
*looks to Jewel*
"Well ball is in your court, I said I would look after you, so your the one in control of what happens. We have a library lead, but it will be dangerous, but probably fun."

David responds, "Put it somewhere outside; my cabin is warded against just about everything I could think of." Jewel says, "You've been a bigger help to me than you know; to Sefyr's library, then. But first we need to get off this mountain." "That's easy," says Shane. "Use the elevator." He points to an elevator door on the wall of the cabin.
*smirks*
"That would have been something that I would have liked to have known about ahead before now."
*smiles*
"Let me setup a target outside, that I can get back to here when needed. I have some leftovers if anyone wants any eggs, bacon and potatoes."
*heads outside to make a familiar spot*

David, the little boy, you, Jewel, Valera, and Jonny all share a lovely meal. Shane does not partake, unsuprisingly. The night passes with little event, though David asks why you're going to sleep and says, "Sleeping is so last rotation. Staying up all the time is what it's really about; want to learn?"
*smiles*
"I spent a thousand years not sleeping, but that was due to a device, slept the first time in a long time last night, but I would love to not have to sleep, especially with two women to protect."

"You could always take up paddleball." It's up to you. Jonny, Shane, David, and the little boy who everyone has been ignoring are all here, doing much the same thing as usual -- Shane watching the ball on the paddle, David paddling away absently, Jonny no longer sharpening his spear, just seated there, and the little boy with his cube, which is glowing green; he seems to be making a few potted plants grow.

You find the rock; the transmutation comes easily enough. Your strumming breaks the crystal clear silence on the mountaintop, and doesn't sound particularly bad. "She's sleeping inside, let's go see here."

She looks excited at first, then puts her hand out to stop you, looking worried. "Wait," she says, "she'll be mad. I'm Eria. You helped her? What's your name?"
"I am Jhiaxus, and I am helping her, no one else seems to be, sorry for my mannors, it is good to meet you Eria."
*looks at her*
"Why would she be angry?"

"She'll be mad 'cause I left and found her when she didn't want me to... " she looks down and shuffles her feet, then looks up at you again. "Are you going to be our daddy?"
"Whoa, no daddy, she told me of previous daddies, guardian sounds better, not a power guardian, just a plan ole guardian. She will be less mad than you think."
*smiles*
"She's inside sleeping, I'm sure she will be happy to see you."

Eria looks annoyed by your response, like a child who is often misunderstood and is upset about it. "I didn't ask if you were going to be one of our OLD daddies. I asked if --" she's interrupted by a yawn she struggles to stifle -- "I asked if YOU were going to be our daddy."
*sighs and looks at her and relents*
"Yes, I will be your guys daddy."

She quickly responds, "Good, cause I know who the power guards are, so let's go!" She grabs your hand and starts trying to forcibly drag you.

"Ok I know your almost as old as Jewel is, and she has told me everything, so why do you want me to kill them now, and leave my girl and Jewel in there without me?"

She's looking at you, dumbfounded. "I'm not almost as old as Jewel; she's two whole years older. We can get them first, I guess.." She looks confused and abashed; apparently Jewel's wits don't run in the family.

"Let's get them first and we can all go together"

*Walks in the house waves to everone*
"This is Eria, just getting the girls up and ready to go."
*head to the girls and gently wake them up*
"Eria is here, and she seems to want me to go and kill power guardians."

Jewel blinks drowsily, then sits up with a start. "Eria's here?! Where?" Valera is already awake, sitting on her made bed, ready to go.
*smiles*
"She's out in the main room, pretty insistent I be your new daddy and wanted to drag me to killing power guardians. She does not take well to suggestions other than what she has in mind. I need your help."
*to Valera*
"Wow ready to go, that ninja training wore on you. Did they teach you hand to hand combat?"

Jewel sighs, looking irritated. "Sounds like she's really taken a shine to you." (inuition check 17) The color of her irises is swirling as she gets up to leave the room, changing from light brown to light grey visibly.///Valera says, "Hand to hand combat, yes, and how to use my surroundings to my advantage."
*nods*
"Better get used to your Cyclone again, we have a lot of riding to do, and we will both have a passanger it looks like, CVR-3 Armor is necessary even though it blocks your beauty. *winks*
*follows after Jewel quickly*
"Jewel, there is nothing to get angry about, calm down please, she wanted to go alone, I insisted we all go."
