"Um hun, we need you to bail us out."
mumble mumble... "How much?"
*Hesitant*
"1k, I was a passanger in a vehicle evading police, I would have paid for it myself but they took the money I had on me. I will probably get the charges dropped, but for now, need the bail."
1k. Well, since itms over 1000 dollars, I may be able to get a bond. I trust they have a phone book here, so I'll look up bail bondsmen.
*You find a few bail bondsman, most of them aren't answering the phone but Harry's House of Bonds picks up and will pick it up*
Perfect, so I'll tell him what time I should be down at the station, finish work, then meet the bondsman and pay my ten percent.
*You do, and a embarrassed Cass and Darla come out*
"Thanks Az, we owe ya one."
*They grin*
"You two more than make up for it, trust me." I smile and muss Cass's hair and give Darla a little pinch.
*They take the night off and take care of you right*

*They do end up getting the charges dropped since they were passangers, you all get your money back, they both end up buying Tiberons and start souping them up. Cass in Pink, Darla in purple, you get 4 private clients that pay you an additional 200 per week, you seem to be getting quite the reputation.*
*One day a fight breaks out, two gangs, 3 members in one and 4 in the other, in a class*
I don't get my money back. =( that's how bails bondsmen make their money.
Anyway, it's 200 bucks I'm out. Oh well.
"Break it up, NOW!" If they don't listen I'll grab some senior students and get them to help me break them up, then put them in time out. Assuming this works, I discuss with them and remind them that we are all family here, and that the leave their gang family at the door when they come in. I also let them know that I have to tell Yanni about this, and that if they don't let go of all that anger it will become a stumbling block for them. We must all try to work together to overcome our differences and weaknesses.

I'll leave a note detailing the incident and include the names of those involved, put it in a sealed envelope and then put scotch tape around the seal so it can't be steamed open or otherwise tampered with without it being apparent and write "Yanni" on the outside of it. I feel that he should know.
*Yanni pulls you aside the next day.*
"I want your take on what happened, and what you think should be done about the incident."
"I was instructing them; I think there was some kind of insult, and they got up in arms. Thankfully, we were able to get them calmed down without getting rough.
"I think it would be a good idea if between ourselves we note down who is in what gang and purposefully put them together to help one another with forms and demonstrations and even sparring. They should get to know each other here as family, since on the street they won't be able to, and it's important for them to view the humanity in one another. Our focus should remain on self-defense training as ever, but I don't see anything wrong with choosing who they are to buddy up with."
*Yanni smiles*
"Good, put together your plan, and we will get them in the classes together."
*You come home and there are rice burners up and down the street, there is a pool party and bbq in your backyard.*

I'll nonchalantly make sure everyone knows what I do for a living and let them know about Cunning Fox Self Defense.
I'll have to get some business cards.
When I get a chance to, I'll ask Cass and Darla if they've learned anything about the various gangs, how to tell them apart. I'll use the information to set up lists of what people are in what gangs in the coming weeks so that I can try to bolster our community.

Good, that should help me differentiate between who's who among the trainees at work.
*It's pretty easy each ethnic group is their own gang, the asians one, the latinos another, the african americans another, the white guys another and they all race, so there is a lot of tension out there. The BBQ is a mixed event, trying to get everyone civil to each other. It is a typical party, you know walking into bedrooms now is probably not a wise move.*

To the leatherworker, where I will tell them that I want some custom pieces, with chainmail secured inside of various black leather clothing. Is this something they feel they are proficient enough to attempt if I provide the chainmail? If so, how much will they charge for a shirt, pants, hat, and trenchcoat?
Second, if this is feasible, I will find a metalworker and garnish a quote for specific chainmail pieces as I will require.

Well, 5k is a little rich for something of this nature, which really doesn't do well in the rain anyway, so I tell them I'll think on it and get back to them.
I ask Darla what she thinks about my dilemma, explaining the look I'm going for and that I need something relatively lightweight and what I attempted with leather over chainmail, and pick her brain for alternatives that are either better and more expensive or better and less expensive or just alternatives.
*She shrugs*
"Why chainmail, your asking modern people to make armor that was popular hundreds of years ago, and chainmail was not effective vs arrows, I would hate to think what bullets would do. Why not just get the Trenchcoat with Kevlar Plates, and or modern armor to go underneith? Metal isn't cheap, and asking a "craftsman" to craft chainmail armor is asking for trouble?"
"Kevlar is a great idea. I wonder where to find some of that. Maybe I could get something similar for the entire suit."

"Swat trucks, law enforcement, military and online are all options."
Online, there's a nice choice. I'll have to see what I can find and try to have some custom pieces made.

*Kevlar plates are 100 bucks for a 1 foot by 1 foot semi flexible plate 5cm thick, a full set of Spectre Armor is 5K, rated to stop 7.62x39 and 5.56 rounds type III*
I'll place an order for the Spectre armor, and order some extra material as well.
Maybe I can still get that hat at least.

Oh you will need a custom trench with double the material to hold the plates, that's going to be 1k with tax.
