Something odd is happening on the thread Inspiration: Costumes & Culture. Nikolaj has been trying to add tags, but they seem to turn into three-digit numbers that are hard to delete. I usually have to delete one then another, then reload the page and do two more, and sometimes more numbers appear that were not there before.
Any clue why this is?

I just added a tag and it showed up just fine. Have you tried adding tags? Is this only happening to Nikolaj -- and only in this thread?

Okay, in that case, it just sounds like a random bug and, given it's one I can't reproduce, there's not much chance of fixing it. I'd just ignore it. If it starts happening to other people and on other threads, let me know.
Well, when I added them, they appeared. When I looked back the next day, they were changed.
Ah, okay. Well, I've added one of my own. I'll check back tomorrow and see if it's still showing up properly.
okay, if that doesn't solve it then maybe it was the multitude of tags in a short period of time maybe?
Nikolaj--I would think that if you added a tag with a new post, that should be fine. If you're trying to add a lot of tags, that might confuse the system, or if you're adding them separately from the posts that might be a problem.
But I'm guessing; Aaron is the closest thing we've got to an expert here.
(I admit that I'm really bad at remembering to put tags on threads. Scott used to go behind me and tag them, which was really helpful.)

Some I'd tag in post, others I would add later. I think not more than four per post though.
It happened again today on the tread I opened for Kyler's new game. I could remove it now. I re-added Kyler as a tag. Let's see if it holds. Maybe it's because I work from a Mac?
I find it difficult to believe that the data stream from a Mac would be different from that from a PC. After all, they have to work with the same protocols. But I suppose there's the possibility that the Mac Browser doesn't work quite the same way and the software here doesn't like how it works.

rofl lol I can't respond in the thread for error messages when you post so this will do.
I get that message from time to time as well, I usually navigate back to the main page first to see if the post took, then, if there's no indication it did, back my browser up to where I still have the post and repost it.
