Alright. As a showing of good faith, I will try to sit in on her instruction of the children, get to know them, and help train them, which is at best a hands-on activity.

Fine is fine. I ask Cass if I should go pick a fight with a random person on the street to try to get over my other problem.

Hmm... character's perspective is the best case scenario is the outside world discovers us and they are friendly and want to help get us on track as our own sovereign planet with their alliance. Worst case is the outside world discovers us and says "Wtf, I thought we already razed them" and destroys us from space. Continuing on as we have is basically in the middle.

The death of the captain is pretty bad too.

Oh, and my biggest fear is... well, you should know by now.

Shirley knows.

Excellent. I will continue on as outlined.

Haha, yeahp, that's my outline.

Not the students in Mitzu Frenzy, I am encouraging them to teach others and to sign up for an advanced class I'm making, which is more intense training.

For the Mitzu Frenzy students, I'm going to increase the time of the classes and get some weights for them to wear around their bodies while they train; I'll want to get these for all the students in the advanced classes to make their training more difficult.

I'll certainly assist and oversee the training when I'm able.

"Before we make contact, we should decipher the messages and determine whether they're friendly. If we're interrupting the middle of war talks, we could have a serious problem."

I ask Cass, "What do you think? Should we contact them with an SOS signal? I think that would make the most sense of all other signals, if we're to say 'Help, we've been cut off from communications and don't know what happened.' It's either that or wait for them to contact us."

I ask Cass, "What do you think? Should we contact them with an SOS signal? I think that would make the most sense of all other signals, if we're to say 'Help, we've been cut off from communications and don't know what happened.' It's either that or wait for them to contact us."

"They did, and very throughly," I say, wearing my chinese stealth armor and now moving to allow myself to be seen if I wasn't already. "These have only survived because they were below ground and had terraforming machinery. If it is possible the Shadows will strike again, an immediate evacuation of all civilians is certainly in order."

I wait to introduce myself unless asked, and if asked, I flourish and bow, "Arziay, dimensional verser, at your service, General."

"A dimensional verser is a creature infected with the golden scriff. We never age and we travel to another universe when we are killed. The lack of death in our experience changes our outlook on life itself significantly, sir."

"I'd much like to assist in the war against the beings who razed this planet. I've devoted the last several years to training several of these people in hand to hand combat, and I also have skill using what would likely be considered primitive firearms and bows, as well as in computer security and interior decorating." I kick myself inwardly for saying the last.

I smirk at him and say, "You underestimate me, *boy*. I've been killing since before your daddy was a glimmer in his daddy's eye. If you don't believe my story, by all means, have one of your men shoot me to death, and see if what I'm saying is true; or wait and see if I've aged a day by the time you get decrepit and die. Either way, I'm more than a simple civilian, and the Captain here can tell you that much."

I'm going for my style (Untouchable) and all defenses, including active defenses.

"Name's Arziay, sir, and it'll be an honor for me to follow your orders."

To Cass, "It was either that or be treated as a civilian and wait here for whatever end comes and whatever world is next. There's a clear evil here that needs dealing with; they'll be a good next step as I prepare to face the Nazis. For all I know, they're in league with the Nazis themselves."

I nod and respond, "I wouldn't want it any other way.

"You alright with that, gumdrop? It'll be almost like old times, except we won't be undercover with a bunch of villains. Remember Evil Officer school?" Grins.

I should still have the ability to design, build, and use a hand-carried explosive-driven slug thrower, so I'll certainly let him know that if I can get the materials to build it, I can use it.

Regardless, I'm excited to get this antimatter sniper rifle.

Oh, no, I know it isn't; I was stating that I can build a hc ed st (don't remember whether it was small, large, or heavy), not that this is one. It's quite a different bias.

I do likey.

Sounds good. I will certainly submit a report on the Captain in writing to the General touting him as a levelheaded man with excellent person skills in crisis situations.

I'll continue working with my martial arts when possible between my technological studies and time spent with Cass, taking her on dates, for instance out to eat or to a dance club.

Apart from taking Cass out to wine and dine her, nothing else comes to mind.

I'm not working for promotions; they're the province of those seeking status in their mortal life. I am in this to defeat the menace, and in this case, active duty will be the best course; of course, I won't do it if Cass is averse to it, but I don't see why she would be. Not like death is the end for us.

Take Cass out to celebrate, and tell her, "All the same, I'd rather be fighting pirates on the open sea; at least then I could board them. Maybe we'll find a way to teleport onto enemy ships and take them down that way."

We will order a fine champagne, and I assure her that I'd love to learn to teleport, but that I don't even know how to read a person's mind, so I doubt I'd be able to learn a thing like teleporting.

I'll try to read her mind, then, using her teaching as well as her example.

Sure, I'll hit her back up, thinking that it isn't as easy as it looks.

I think back to her that that would definitely be a good thing.

I blink a couple times, wondering what she means, and then I nod acquiescence.

I'll follow her example. Was she thinking these things, or saying them aloud?

First, I'll try the psionic suggestion/jedi mind trick, which to me seems the most impressive, with virtually limitless applications.

Following her example, with a wave of a hand and spoken if she spoke, thought if she thought, "You wish to be punished for what you've just done."

I tell her, "I like this trick. I'll have to add it to my repertoire."

Time to try the second thing she did, to make her get up, reclothe, and sit down.

I smile innocently at her, wondering if she's thinking my suggestion was uncalled for.

Now to try for the possession. If it works, while in her body I'll put an ice cube down the back of her shirt before changing back.

After changing back, I laugh and assure her I won't use these abilities on her.

I ask Cass, "This domination ability, where you suggest something and the person is compelled to do it; what are the limits to it? Can you make a person fall in love with someone using it? Can you get a person to do something obviously harmful to themself, like stabbing themself with a knife or something?"

"Still a very potent ability... how about using it to make security personnel think you aren't a threat when you're in a restricted area, or to make a superior consider you for a promotion?"

Try to use this skill to get the waitress to offer to pick up the tab for our meal.
