I hope to return ASAP, though time will tell whether it ends up being sooner or later.
In the meanwhile, I have a quick question for my two GMs, Eric and Kyler...
When I finally return, would you prefer to continue with our present worlds, or start in new ones?
For Eric, I know that those world-specific brain cells may have gathered a bit of rust since I've played, and that we were coming up against some challenges on how to deal with my reliance upon Divine guidance.
For Kyler, I know that he was having to try to take over running a game from MJ mid-world, and which hinged upon various theological considerations that he isn't into as much as MJ was.
I've played with Eric before, but Kyler and I are new to one another. So I have another query for him, if he chooses to move me to a new world...
Kyler, do you permit requests or preferences regarding upcoming worlds (such as goals, genres, eras, locations, biases, and/or etc.)?
I've seen some GMs that gladly solicit such suggestions, and others that will specifically refuse to follow such suggestions, and others somewhere in between. So it would help me to know where you are at in that spectrum... :)

You can ask me to send you anywhere and I'll certainly take it under consideration; juat don't expect it'll be your next world, or even the one after, and be aware that I just might try to trick you into thinking I did what you wanted when I actually purposefully used it as a distraction =)
With genres, I usually try to go for a good mix with everyone, but if you want to go to a specific sort of genre, just let me know; some of my best worlds were created by the seat of my pants. (In all honesty, I was probably completely stoned at the time, so I probably can't promise that'll go quite so well again =P)

My preference (if I count) is that you "finish" the current world somehow that is reasonable within the rules. Now, if between you you want to use the next really bad GE roll to bring on a confrontation with the Sheriff's men that's likely to get you killed, that's perfectly legitimate. Joe Kondor was killed by a crossbow bolt in this world, when he stood accused of aiding and abetting enemies of the crown by running a hospital for Saxon peasants including Robin's people. Bill Friant was shot in the back fleeing from the court of King Richard when he was arrested for killing Prince John (in a wonderfully well-orchestrated raid on Buckingham Palace, if I recall correctly). There are ways to die, and you're in the middle of the rebel forces who don't understand that being completely loyal to King Richard and opposing Prince John are incompatible positions.

Given MJ's preference, I'll keep going with that world. It does help that the world I'm using is a Book World, and one with a lot of material. I have the first book in the series, and the Ladyfaire just bought another book in the series so I'm reading it now.
And the issues with Divine Guidance offer an interesting problem for me as the GM. It offers a chance for me to improve my skills, and perhaps find a new style of writing to show a different understanding of Divine Things.
I can, if you wish, kill you off pretty quickly.
Is this the world where he was replacing the psychic detective? That was interesting; I might try to get back to reading that one. Or did I miss the end of that?

MJ, I've heard it said that you cannot be both Catholic and pro-abortion. Being pro-abortion flies in the face of everything that Catholicism stands for. Likewise, I don't see how anyone can be Christian, and declare the creations of God, whatever they are, to be bad or evil. Harmful certainly, but God didn't create anything evil. If God didn't want the human race to have everything that's here, then why did He put it here to begin with? I don't see how a Christian can say that. That's just my two cents.
