You start knocking down trees. These are about fifty feet tall, with most of the foliage and branching at the narrow end. It takes some planning and effort to bring a tree to the ground (instead of catching it against another tree), but you can do a tree within three minutes on average.
About an hour later, your communications people bring you word that the enemy has called a halt, apparently a rest break for lunch, about a mile north. That will give you extra time to prepare; you've got a perimeter of twenty trees, think ends overlapping thin ends, forming a square about 200 feet/65 yards per side, one corner toward the road. Your men have been building traps, working in an organized fashion to avoid trapping each other, but they're a bit scattered about the jungle at this point.

Good, something went right today. We'll have the men work safely back to the makeshift cover and setup for the ambush. Snipers will pick their spots first, and we'll setup the M249 machine guns in strategic places on the cover. We will defend all parts of the fort, but the bulk of the force 100 will be around that corner, the other 99 will defend the other sides facing the jungle 33 to a side. Geneice will once again jam all radio traffic in the area, and we will have the one man not assigned to be a communications runner, since the radios will not be working. I will tell the men that the first targets are anyone with rocket launchers, grenade launchers, or grenades in hand. Those are the targets that can hurt us the most. We will have our heavy ordinance, Javelin Missile Launchers and M136 AT-4's for vehicles, one person in every squad has one, meaning we have 50 of each, with 3 shots as the people that don't carry them, carry other tubes or rounds.
I guess we are ready, let's get this started.

The enemy force is coming down the road, completely oblivious to your presence.
The question is, are you going to
- attack when they are still a certain specified distance away;
- wait until the lead men are as close as they're going to be, or
- let the lead men pass a certain specified distance and hit the troops in the middle of their ranks?

Good, things are looking up. We will let them pass till we can hit the middle of their ranks. I will motion for the infantry guys to throw one frag grenade each, while the snipers pick their chosen targets, while the machinegunners go for clumps of men to start. If this works right, we can completely obliterate them without them being able to put up much of a struggle.

You throw grenades and open fire, and there are some shouted orders, and the troops quickly fall back into the brush and cover on the opposite side of the road.
There may be thirty casualties in the open road, dead or severely wounded, but the rest are rapidly vanishing into more defensible positions.

I tell Geneice to stick to the plan over here. I grab my helmet, put it on, try to activate my missile avoidance and muscle blocking and superjump into their midst with my M-29 in hand and see what kind of havok I can wreck over there.

You charge out from the cover of the jungle, and begin firing, bringing down fleeing soldiers in all directions.
Bullets are bouncing off your armor left and right, but you continue across the road toward the cover of the other side.
You take a wound, a minor sting in your leg, and keep going. A grenade explodes a few feet from you; you roll away from it, reducing its impact but putting yourself farther from cover for a moment. Getting back to your feet, you feel the vibrations of dozens of impacts on the armor, and other sting where something got through.
You replace clips, and continue to fire. Bodies are everywhere.
You hear your troops mobilizing behind you in pursuit of the enemy.
A rocket is coming your direction; the enemy is treating you as if you were a tank. You hit the dirt, but it detonates immediately above you.
I'm assuming that Horus is in London, and that at least some of your possessions are there, such as your motorcycle. Please clarify for me what is in London, what is with you, and where anything else might be. Geneice will also have left things in London, particularly clothes. I might make some of these decisions myself.

It might be easier to say what we have on us. I have my armor, backpack with laptop, M-29, PSG-1, 2 FN Five Sevens, 2 Vibrokatanas, rations and water, ammo and grenades for my weapons, a change of clothes, my cellphone, all the small tools and items that I normally have in my backpack and of course watches and rings. I also would have had my half of the gems and gold, knowing this was likely to be a one way trip. The rest of my items on my sheet are in the cases on my motercycle. You can decide if anything Geneice has different.
I pretty much left Horus to the backround, he was living the life of a super hawk in London, he should be glad to spend some quality time with us. I would think if he were aware, he would make his way to us, either way it was a good run here.
