@Kyler in my game, yes I figured out a way to remove the complication in your scenario for me, but complicate it for you. Which is the evil twin? The symbiote has only up to 1@8 and 2@8 psi skills, so it could neither psionically possess a body, or eject you from it's body. It does however have a sky high body bias, since most of those are body related. It was using double thought on you.
There is no complication.

Adam, I meant no offense by the comment. I just found it a humorous error, and I enjoy those kinds of mistakes--

Ninjas and Samurais are both Japanese, dude. The Ninjas were formed as a rebellion of farmers against the Samurai and their feudal lords. Is it different in Dark Honor, or what?

Dark Honor Empire is a world included in the ill-fated Third Book of Worlds. It is the included "dual-scenario" world, as the Mary Piper in the 1BoW and the Farmland in the 2BoW.

Jim Denaxas suggested the title, and also suggested the combination of an ancient and a modern version. I'll admit that the modern version was a challenge, and that John helped with the guns for it.
At one level it's another Robin Hood or Star Wars scenario, in which the government is the evil oppressive power and the bandits are the heroes. It has some levels of complexity, though, which were developed from the fact that there are two classes of nobles--the kuge or holy nobles and the bushi or warrior nobles, each with its own independent hierarchy. The bushi are charged with the task of taxing the peasants sufficiently to maintain the lifestyles of the nobility, and so the peasants oppose the bushi but revere the kuge, who as a mostly non-productive burgeoning leisure class consume tremendous quantities of resources on the back of the starving peasants with whom they have no contact. So the bushi are caught in the middle, really, between the ninja who fight for the peasants and the kuge who expect to maintain their levels of decadence. But since the bushi are also noble by right of birth, they don't really understand the plight of the peasants, either.
I think the meaning of "Dark Honor Empire" as a title is that the bushi (from the shogun down to the sumo) all have honor, but are fighting in defense of an oppressive system. But it wasn't my title. I'm not complaining--I'm really bad at titles.

@ Max: with cats, three or more distinct colorations almost always means female. I would've brought it up if he wanted to be calico.
It was my understanding that with domestic (house) cats, three or more colors is impossible for males. Of course, it's different for tigers and leopards, I think.

The only way that it's possible is if the male cat has a genetic defect; for instance, XXY instead of XY.
A very quick web search indicates that it's because the cat fur color gene is a sex-linked trait where different genes get expressed in various locations, at least for some of the colors. An XXY mutant could express as many as a female, but that's a rare case.

That would depend on the GM. Maybe a list to determine how bad the amnesia is but I prefer the character does not remember anything before the zygote. The memory could be returned periodically through dream or subconscious action. The memory could also be returned because of a trigger or a botch. So it really depends on the GM creativity on how that would turn out which why it seems interesting to me.
