I need to see the baseline for the resistance spell, sry.
Block Magic M9@8. A shield or other power able to prevent magic from passing through is a very potent and rare matter. Few supernatural powers confer such a skill, since it intrinsically involves opposing other supernatural powers. Thus at the baseline, such shields require sixty second time factors, have a one-to-ten time factor to duration ration and are limited to narrowly defined types of magic which will be blocked. Shields which block all forms of magic generally require the skilled user to maintain the ritual the entire time the shield is to be maintained, and to roll a skill check for success each minute of operation., that is, one minute of ritual provides one concurrent minute of protection, during which no other magic rituals may be performed. Of course higher skill ability will reduce both the time factor, and increase duration, making it possible to spend some time on other skills. Furthermore the baseline blocks magic in both directions. Any shield which permits the character to send magic out which cannot come in requires a doubled time factor for the same duration, or a -10 sit mod.
Okay, and you want this anti-magic field as I'll call it protect.. you and 3 feet? you and one foot? you and 5 feet? or just you? for professional level I'll give it 30 seconds of ritual for 2 minutes of protection, so a minute and a half before you have to cast it again. Are the words for casting "Wait a moment" ?
*I was hoping for something actually effective in combat, but it really isn't, if that was the intention of the spell it fails miserably. For the price of casting no magic and not getting affected by it, it's not worth the effort. If it gave 10 minutes of protection, worth it, new plan, when Eria turns around to start heading off, will open a hole into the inbetween and use my foreknowledge to train my skills up, hopefully Val (in male form and Tani join me shortly*
Technically, they can't join you shortly; the second you go into the Between, time effectively "stops" in the outside world. The time you spend in the Between is exactly irrelevant to the passage of time in the outside world. (this could easily cause serious temporal anomalies if not done with care;) you would have to wait for Val to get the skill, the roll is 7 for Mind Over Matter, she's got that... and 98 for the shape change. You know what that means.

Tan's face turns into the stony hardness you're used to from Fizgig. "Let's go, then. Jewel will probably be either in the library or on the roof. Nic is probably at home." Then she looks around and says, "Jef, if you're listening, now would be a really good time fo you to pop in." The four of you begin a brisk walk to the library?
*Nods*
"Let's gather everyone together."
*Heads for the library*
As the elevator door opens, you see an unfamiliar man inside. Tan jumps in suprise looking like she's about to kill him. He is about five an a half feet tall, small build, green eyes and short brown hair in a bowl cut, wearing a white robe and sandals. Tan smiles big, and says, "Jef! It's been too long!" Jef responds, looking at you and talking to her, "New look? If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were a girl." Tan blushes, apparently unsure as to what to say, and Jef holds the elevator to keep it from leaving.

"You're Fizgig's friend, right?" Eleven stands up. "Fizgig and I fought for our Elder's exam. He's pretty good, considering that he survived. My name's Hawk. Watching you go blind sounds like fun. When do we start?" Seiryu cuts in. "Hawk uses only missile weapons, so he may not be the best opponent for your purpose." He stands. "I would be honored to assist you in your training." David nudges Shane and quietly repeats the last part of what Seiryu said and the two collapse in a giggling fit.
*To Hawk and Seiryu*
"Thanks to you both, well whoever assists with the training can report back to see just how effective the techniques I am working on are. They might be weak by your standards, they might be strong, it's hard to get a gauge without trying them out. Most of them I do not need a human opponent, and that's a good thing, since some of them are not friendly to people."
*To David and Shane*
"Keep it up you two, I can summon your asses for that fight you know, but I'm being nice and letting your non committal policy stand out of respect. Besides getting on Fizgig's bad side is not the way to spend the rest of eternity."
*To Hawk and Seiryu*
"Whichever or both want to help or check it out, we can do it. I can help people to learn it, but since it only exists in fantasy and this place isn't bonused in magic like the other world, might be harder to start off with. Unless this place also connects to that world, then it really wouldn't be fiction now would it."

Imidge pipes up, "The Sharingan? Of the Uzumaki family originally? Sure. I can give you exact directions, if you like. They consider themselves ninja there." There's a chuckle from the others around the fire. Seiryu goes with you.
*smiles* You have to admit it would be a fun world to be in.

You show Seiryu what your Sharingan can do; it's not so hard to hit him with it when he's not using his style as it is to hit Tan when she's not using style. He agrees with you that it is a powerful skill. Imidge, who you had not noticed until he speaks up, says, "To be sure, they are good abilities to have; unfortunately, the eyes are a dead giveaway to one in the know, and all the abilities can be done without the Sharingan by other means. There is also the small matter of blindness; as I said, a small matter."
*nods*
"What you say is true, the abilities can be done other ways, but I find that the eyes are a good focal point and help with the skills. As for the blindness, well that world being fiction where I came from, I was able to see the solution to it, and prepare for it. Besides you don't get better without learning new things. As for the eyes, as you say they are a dead giveaway, but if your also in the know, you see someone with them, you know anything is possible. You have to look at each potential downside as something good as well. The blindness is bad, can't really work around that, but the prepared Ninja is a living Ninja."
*considers*
"I have been thinking on what you said about them thinking they are real ninja. I believe they are, they know the value of teamwork, and working for the good of everyone in the village. If those are the only two things to take away from them, it's that they have the ninja spirit, and if they have that, then anything is possible. As for why I do things the way I do, the first world I came from this was all fantasy, and unattainable. So it is part feeling familiar and part having some link to who I was at one point."

He nods. "I can see that. However, I am more getting at another point; the one you mentioned regarding saiyans. I have fought several. I am aware that they are powerful adversaries, but if it is their power levels or their energy manipulation you are interested in, they can be taught regardless of your race. I don't see why you'd like to have to change your body structure in order to attain such power; that is what they do. At your level I would say you could easily stand much chi coursing through yourself, at least as much as a super saiyan level 2."
*smiles*
"I had forgotten about that, I do have energy manipulation skills, and I do need all the help I can get in the next fight, and since I have all the time in the world so to speak here, I might as well work on everything till I know it perfectly. Well it seems I am going to be one big walking anime cliche, but so be it."

I believe ... let me look this up before I say it's not applicable ... in my opinion in order to be most like what they seem to be doing you need to do a specific sort of B7@7 special damage (I believe it is) (strangely the same skill I would argue those in the Avatar universe use). Now that I think about it more, the energy manipulation skill I gave you had the specific idea in mind that that's what you could do with it; I think. (edit: the reason I was going to say you can't initially was because I was fairly sure the baseline called for a specific form of energy; but I believe I made that skill with the energy form "energy" in mind.)

You have no trouble at all harnessing energy in your environment and blasting it in any direction, all directions, coating your body with it, making a humanoid shape next to you; to put it simply, you're a freakin beast with it.

*Do I feel more powerful, can I fly at will? Does my hair or eyes change color? I'm just asking to know what if any noticeable changes other than an energy sheaf and cracking lightning once in awhile?

Imidge responds, "You'd be referring to Vize. Strange he should be the one you would ask about; I am certain Mark has several devices he could use to make shorter work of him than a snowflake in hell. His most pronounced weakness is his lack of a body; a well-placed hit from you or Tan will take him down easily.
Blade is strong, and will take a long time to take down, but does not make use of magic and his moves are like a dimensional drift. Still, when he hits, it's nothing to laugh about. He's more geared towards crowd control and taking on several enemies at once than the rest.
Skelly will likely choose to take to the back with Vize; he regenerates and has astounding abilities to heal others. He is wicked with a scimitar, though, and if Pain or Blade fall he is likely to move to defend Vize. He is the fastest, but has the least potential for dealing damage.
Pain is probably the one to most dangerous alone, as he is the most well-rounded of the four of them, on top of having many resistances and several immunities. There is actually another time and place he governs solely.
Honestly, if you want my take on what you're facing, you'll either need to get more help, or you'll need a lot of skill. The four you're facing are individually tough, and together are more than capable of destroying worlds. Of course, you already have Jef on your side, and he's proven himself to be more than capable of accidently destroying worlds as well; he received training here, once, but chose to follow his own path after a disagreement over our methods.
All four of them possess a dual existence; that is, even if you defeat them in one world they will return to their own to lick their wounds and return later. In order to defeat them utterly, you will need to go to each of their worlds and destroy them there; defeating the four of them in one world will not be enough to shake their hold over the world."

"Well as for getting help, I ran out of time now, but I can go back to any time and place, so I can teach that person to shapeshift then, and to have them forget until I give them a word ((I do not know she's pregnant or I wouldn't have her do that)). For help, most of the people who could help would rather play paddleball."

"What I need to do is kill two birds with one stone, I need more of me, and to learn more in a lot less time. I need Shadow Clones, to speed up training, so I can get my physical skills up, master the eye skills, and work on becoming more powerful with energy to reach level three. Can I reach Mark from here? I also need a device to record and train a person really really fast, as well to neutralize Vize. I would still need one more to at least make it even."

"I would recommend against having your wife transform into a man at this time. The consequences could be very regretful. I would not want to give away too much to you, as it is a joyous suprise."
"Paddleball?... you're referring to David. Would you like me to order him to help you?"
"Shadow clones are a possibility. Would you like help learning?"
"You can get to... you know how it works already." He gives you directions to get to Mark's junkyard.
*Looks at him funny but puts it in the back of his mind*
"Girlfriend/Lover, we didn't get married for real, that was part of the stupid All Ruler dream, but thanks all the same I think. No, I believe in freedom and free will, forcing him to help for the right reasons doesn't negate the fact that left to his own devices, he wouldn't help. That's on him not me, and I would rather not have his help if he doesn't want to do something."
*smiles*
"Sure would love help learning, also means I don't have to tie up anyone else for training once I can do it."
*Nods* "You mentioned directions to the Uchiha Ninja World as well, once I finish my commitment, I would like to visit. I suppose I can just Shane and David for their help, technically it fits under the charter The Black Ninjas are founded under. Taking down 4 people who usurped power from a world, qualifies in my book."

"It fits the bill in more ways than one, actually; unfortunately, the most important point is not reached; they have to intentionally attempt to commit a genocide or total planetary destruction in order for the Black Ninja to step in in full force. I can see if David can at least lend you his ultima cloak, however." He asks what time you'd like to be in the Naruto universe, as that plays a large factor in where the cut needs to be made. He asks whether you want multiple bodies controlled by one mind, or seperate minds for each.

"I would say about a year before they graduate from Ninja Academy, it's just one of those stories that makes you want to jump in and be a part of the action, but enough leeway that you can be off to the side and not interrupt the story unfold."

"Even if he didn't want to lend it, instruct me how to use it and I can make a copy of it, sounds interesting"

"I would say, they way I saw it, each one has a reflection of the thoughts, intentions and wills of the others, so he didn't control them perse, but they knew what he wanted them to do and they did it, sort of like a Hive Mind, if that makes sense."

Mark acknowledges you, and doesn't waste time on formalities. "What's up?" he inquires nonchalantly. He seems absorbed with some kind of gun and a screwdriver, and when you appear turns it in a different direction so it does not misfire at you.
*Takes off the CVR-3 Armor and gets off the Cyclone and places the helmet in a place nearby to him, but not disturbing. I don't need this anymore, I can accomplish the ability the Cyclone gives me in numerous different ways.
"Imidge directed me your way for a device to deal with Vize's lack of a body and his magic usage. I also had a personal request for a machine to record a skill or ability, store it and have the wearer receive the knowledge of that skill put directly into their brain. Do you have something like that to record many skills?"
*sighs*
"I also have to worry about the rest, and don't have the manpower to deal with them all."
