The packing would've been faster, but having a one year old running around does slow things down a little; thankfully, you have gotten dresses for your little flower girl and ring bearer, so they don't need to be concerned with what they're going to wear then; but both of them are taking quite a while picking out exactly what to wear until then, as is Val, who is picking outfits for herself and Vicky. (Or is it Tori?)

*Nods, speaking of which, are Eria, Jewel and Nic aging? Without the influence of the four, I am assuming they will be able to grow into adults. Part of the reason why I'm staying is to make sure that happens. I will let them take time, as long as Aunt Tani doesn't crack the whip and make them hustle.*

J

Eria looks eight, Jewel looks ten, and Nic appears twelve, yes.

Tan is irritated but doesn't push them.

*Vicky is her nickname*

"Alright kids, we are going to be guests in someone's home, there are probably going to be one or two people there who are not going to be civil, so we are all going to be on our best behavior.

*pauses*

"Jewel if your good, one glass of wine with your meal, Nic as well, Eria, still too young, but we'll get you a Shirley Temple, so you can have your drink like the rest. Let's make a good impression."

*Ready to get going*

J

Your journey begins; it's a long trip, even on zippers. Several days later, you arrive at the bottom of the mountain that the entrance to the Draconian Tower is within. There is no elevator; thankfully, there is a footpath. As the entrance to the tower is within the mountain, it is not sensible to use zippers.

As you walk through the winding tunnels towards the entrance, a couple men step out in front of you, holding daggers and looking rather harmless, though they seem to intend harm. One appears serpentine, the other human.

"Well, Jeb, what have we hurr."

"Look like weddin goers, Myse."

Another two are behind you; a beastman and an ayludian woman. As they don't even really register as a threat to you, you hadn't considered them as such.

"Yer monies, please," the beastman says. "Don' wanna hur' yas in fro' the kids."

*sighs and to the kids*

"Ok kids, take this as an object lesson, you always give the bad guys the option to rethink their actions and repent before kicking their teeth down their throat."

*clears his throat*

"You do realize, the wedding goers for a wedding between three warriors are likely going to be warriors themselves. I give you this opportunity to rethink your actions, and not to bother people on their way to this wedding. I am not going to sit here and babysit this path, so convince me that your going to turn around and not bother anyone. If not I'm going to have render you combat ineffective."

J

Jeb, the human, says, speaking slowly and as clearly as possible around his rotting teeth, "Maybe you didn't hear Luke the first time. Yer MONEY, er yer LIFE, unlucky traveller."

*Smiles*

*Time to see just how powerful my Energy Training is and see if I made it to SS3*

J

You're just manipulating the energy into our own body at the moment?

*Nods, I want them to see what they are up against to see if they still want to roll the dice.*

J

I feel I must warn you of the dangers involved in powering yourself up to such a high level when you're inside of a mountain populated by people and while you are in such close proximity with children who are non combatants, including an infant who is not yet two.

Would you still like to proceed with this action?

I shouldn't wear the kid gloves so much.. I remember when Chris teleported the spaceship and none of the people on it, killing all of them.

*Well Goku did it without doing all that, he just shifted, but if it is dangerous, I will not*

*Sighs*

"I guess I have no choice."

*I am going to shift my eyes to the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, and put them in the Tsukuyomi genjutsu and slowly reinforce that banditry is not the right way in life, by the end of the second or two they are in there, will seem like years*

J

((Random lightning bolts are pretty much unavoidable once you get very powered up; also, there's at least a large blast of air, something like a shockwave from yourself.))

They have a terrible, terrible experience. When they come back, three collapse into tears; the serpent dies instantly of system shock.

*Looks at the serpent and sighs*

*picks up the body*

"Janus will be at the wedding, he can resurrect this unworthy person, to see if they can live life right the next time."

*looks at the three crying*

"You see how you feel now, imagine your victims. Count yourselves lucky I am a decent guy. I want you all and this one here when he is brought back to devote your lives to helping others, since I spared them. That is the price you pay for your crimes."

*to the kids*

"You have to offer them the easy way out, they probably won't take it, but you have to be the better person. With that said, do not let yourselves be victims, fight for what you believe in."

J

Jewel looks bored, Nic is nodding and paying attention, and Eria is trying to console one of the crying men. Vicky looks like she's going to cry, too, and Val says, "Can we keep going, please?"

*Awwww*

*gives Vicky a kiss on her forehead and makes a goofy face*

"I'm sowwwwy for making you feel bad."

*To Val*

"Hey it was either that or get into a fight where all of them likely die. I will spare a minute to show mercy.

*To Eria*

"Come along hun, he will be alright, and hopefully he will be a better person."

*Carrying the Snakeman with him like he was nothing as we continue moving.*

((Wow I expected Tan to say that not Val))

J

Tan doesn't mind so much; you're making good time and there's not really a deadline. Val was upset because the grown men crying was upsetting Vicky.

§

You arrive at the front gates, which are open, and walk in. Tan says, "It's been a really long time since I was here," as she strokes the ornate scrollwork on the solid metal door. "Last time would have to have been when I was exiled. Well, here we are; Draconian Tower. Where should we go first?"

((Ah gotcha, makes sense))

*Looks around*

"Well let's introduce everyone to Grandfather, since we are guests, then after we get settled, a tour? Since your people will be extension our people, we should get to know them."

J

People are showing deference to Tan as she walks through the hall. Henry's room is on the same floor as the entrance.

He welcomes you when you walk in, and send away the throng of people around him; Tan's sister (who Henry did once call Rid) is not here at the moment. They all leave.

*Let Tan make the introductions since we are guests, and she is the one in charge as it were of us here.*

J

Henry approaches you again; Tan seems purposefully deferrent to you in his presence. "Greetings, and welcome again, Jhiaxus. These three I have met, Nic, Jewly, and Eri; but these two I have not."

*Nods and gives him a head bow*

"Thank you for welcoming me and my own once again. Valera is also my woman, and also engaged to be married to me. The little one with her is Victoria, she is a bit of a miracle, due to technically versers not being able to reproduce, so we are both glad to have her with us."

*Beaming*

Henry responds, "Truly, a dual ceremony? Then this will be quite a celebration for certain. We have some bottles of well aged wine, older indeed than I am, and your guests have already arrived. Shall I begin preperations for the ceremony, or have you shown to your rooms for some few days respite from your journey?"

*Nods*

"Yes indeed, I love these two women, and they love me. I think we just need a day to rest, the day after should be great. I know some of the guests don't like each other, so best not to keep them together for too long. I do think they know to be civil here, but you never know when anger clouds judgment."

*pauses*

"Besides, shouldn't give them too much time to plan parties of a dubious nature. Although knowing David, and what he said, it will probably be unavoidable."

J

Henry summons someone to the room; Rid walks into the room. She says a word in Draconian; you assume it was Grandfather. (Does it suprise you that it sounds like Bahamut, in spite of the clicking?)

He tells her in the language you all understand, "Please show our guests to their room, then leave them be."

She looks irritated, but beckons to your group. You are suprised that she doesn't mess with Tan for the trip; was there anything you wanted to say the the woman who ruined your woman's childhood?

((No it does not :P))

*grins feeling the urge to needle*

"So Rid, since your going to be my sister in law, how do you feel about a 100% human joining the family? If I learned how to change into a dragon, would that ease the transition any? I just want to make my new sister in law feels welcomed and protected like I'm sure she would want for her family."

J

She smiles back to you, and answers, "I don't really care. Times have changed a lot, and I can honestly say that I've known a long time for a fact, people with human blood can be a lot of fun."

*I want to read her mind and find out if that was her real reaction, if I am going to needle, I will do it right.*

J

She's thinking she doesn't want to upset Henry, but she's really itching to torture Tan, and even more so itching to see how much she's grown, if you get my drift.

*smiles and nods*

"Well I am glad to hear it, knowing time can change people. Val still sleeps, perhaps you Tan and I could meet somewhere where we can converse, talk about change and forgiveness."

*I am selling that I believe her words*

*When we are alone, and I'm sure she is out of range*

*To Tan*

"She is still the same evil bitch, I read her mind as we were talking, she wants to do the same things to you now. Can you take her?."

*still carrying the body*

"I need to see David and Janus, and arrange for someone to watch the kids and Val while we greet her properly."

*To David*

"Greetings, I got a present for Janus, this sad sack needs to be alive again to atone, and I wish to talk to you, in the inbetween about shapechanging into a dragon."

J

Rid says to you, dropping the smile, "I'd love to, but Grandfather's orders were clear. I'm to leave you all be."

Tan smirks and shrugs. "Rid won't try anything. I probably could take her; she has some nasty skills up her sleeve, but I'm not the little girl I once was."

David says to you, "A present for who?

"Sure, let's go."

*To Tan*

"Well I tried, we can also talk to Hen ri, he must know this will boil and fester until you both hash it out. Ordering people to do something only works for so long, no matter how grave the threat."

*smiles*

"Janus, or if you know any other necromancer that is here that would do it. Four of these fools tried to rob us on the way here, I put them in a illusion and this one died from it. I feel bad, so I want this one to live again, so they can change their ways. Or at least think about it. It's who I am."

*Once that is taken care of go with David*

J

"I don't know any Necromancers." He's obviously messing with you. Janus resurrects the guy like it was nothing, and you administer a warning to him and send him on his way.

David goes to the Between with you, and he tells you, "I have no idea how to explain to you how to turn into a dragon form. I was born with the ability. Imidge can probably help you."

*smiles*

"Grins, I figure if her whole family can do it, I might as well pick a form for myself. So how big is yours, and is there any limit to size or form? Probably all questions for Imidge, but had to ask. I smell a combat coming with someone there, going too smooth not to."

J

David morphs into his Draconian form. It looks to be the same size as he is, made of pure energy. There's a bit of a crackle and a sizzle, and he morphs back.

"There are a lot of different dragon forms; the only forms rarer than mine are the Indigo and Platinum forms, of which there have only ever been one of each in the entire history of Draconia. Some are big, some are small, some are tough, some not so much, some have breath weapons, some don't."

*Nods as we are walking to Imidge*

"Thanks for showing me, and explaining the forms, has there been a Uranium Dragon?. Tell me of Rid, she is going to be a problem, and I want to know a little about her."

J

"May've been a Uranium dragon before. It would've been before my time, but that's not saying much.

"You wanna know about my cousin Rid? Well, as you've probably guessed, she's a green dragon; a little taller than man-sized, breathes fire, claws, teeth, tail, wings. More importantly in Draconian history, she's the current Summoner of the Draconian people. Her mother was the previous Summoner; their task was to venture into the spirit world, what Imidge calls the border supernatural, and form pacts with various demons and deities there. The whip Rid carries protects her in case things get ugly; when she was very young, that whip belonged to her mother, but there was a problem when they were off in the spirit world. Supposedly, and I'm giving you this story at least thirdhand, but supposedly, Rid had the whip so she wouldn't be harmed in case things went south, and they went horribly south; Rid's mother was heinously and slowly killed in front of her, and her soul went on to eternal torture. Then, from what I heard, Rid dropped the whip in her shock and they came for her; she was gone for over a full rotation, and Henry finally went and got her back. She was never the same bubbly little girl after that; she wouldn't tell anyone what they did to her, but in light of what she later did to Tan..." He shakes his head. "Thus, the cycle continues. Anyway, she never puts down that whip now; guess she learned the hard way."

*Nods*

"It's never easy here, after hearing that finding it hard to hate her other than she took it out on her family. Maybe I can use my Tsukuyomi, to heal instead of hurt, but it would have to be at a point where she wasn't mentally at full strength. Thanks David, talking to you turned what would have been a knock down drag down fight, to trying to figure out how to help someone."

J

David shrugs in response to you. "Everyone's got a story; very few people are really evil at heart.

"Well, there is Sefyr. He said he'd definitely come, by the way."

David actually really is a jerk, isn't he.

*smiles*

"Joy, too bad for him I'm at least 3x as strong as I was when we took him down. Not a good day to be a bad guy. Don't worry David, paybacks a bitch, and Tan's daughters are going to be there, so good luck dodging them."

*grins back*
