"Sure, I'd love to be friendly with Tani again.
"Well, for all intents and purposes, it looks like I'm yours to make whatever you want me to be, right now." She breathes in your ear, not quite touching you.
"What do you want to know? There are millions of us, all descended from Grandfather if we trace our lineage back far enough; we're about as mixed a bunch as you can get."

"Part of being friendly with Tani, is not hitting on her man. She has grown into quite the spitfire, and she doesn't take kindly to other women hitting on me. However, if you get on her good side, she is fairly open about being friendly. So I'll take that as a raincheck, and maybe someday make good on it."
*considers*
"Well I heard a name Zero, tell me about them to start."

"She doesn't have to know.
"Ru Zi Ro was one of the All-Rulers. He was strict, but kind, noble, but proud. He was a blue dragon."

"I would know and I respect women."
*Nods*
"You said was, is he still a sword?"

She asks why he wouldn't be.
*Shrugs*
"Did he request to stay as a sword, wouldn't he want to be free?"

*shrugs*
"If he was honorable and fair, why would he be left as a sword?"

"I don't think he has much say in the matter. I'm pretty sure that once they're made into a sword, that's it for them. I've never heard of any of them not being swords anymore."
*Grins*
"No he wouldn't, but Snow was a sword, and now she is not, so there is a way to reverse it. Snow was less well liked than Zero, so that's why I asked. Does anyone know where Zero is now?"

She answers, "I certainly don't; you could ask Sefyr." She mentions him specifically because he just sat down next to you at the bar, taking the seat Daid vacated as he left with several women.
"So, is Tan going to be your best man?" Sefyr asks you.
*Turns to Sefyr*
"Still a little sore Tan didn't ask you to be the maid of honor? I know you were checking out the bridemaid's dresses, seeing if your femine figure would fill them out nicely. I was going to let things lie, but I thank you for making a comment, I can now unload the salvos. Maybe you can also give Tan the number of your stylist and manicurist."
*Glad he came over to start sh*t*
He laughs, and answers, "We're quite a pair, aren't we? Fizgig and I. I guess he probably told you that we used to be best of friends."
*shakes his head*
"Never mentioned it actually, just knew he hated you, and thought enough of you to fight you in his Male form. Going to tell me how it all went wrong, and get ole Jhiaxus to patch things up?"

He shrugs. "It wasn't either of our faults. We're just such different people. He believes people should be free to do whatever they want, and I believe they must be governed, or they'll all kill one another. That, I believe, was the root of all our disagreements; well, that, and the fact that he raped my daughter, so I did the same to his daughter, but what was good for the goose was, apparently in this case, not good for the gander. I regret having done it, but I was letting anger govern my actions.
*Nods*
"So it seems the cycle of hatred has come full circle. Your both right, there are certain freedoms every person is entitled to, and there are some laws everyone must abide by. Tan has changed, she regrets doing those things, and is trying to make amends. Sounds like a case of getting you two together to apologize to the other. You can still be friends and have different viewpoints."
*To Rid*
"Same goes for you, you owe Tan an apology and an explanation of your actions if you ever want to repair that relationship. Tan I think will understand what having that done to you, will effect you more than anyone."
*Takes another shot*
"We are sticking around this world till my daughter grows up. It's time for everyone to just apologize for their wrongs, put things behind them. Or this world will go back to the same hell it was before. I did not become all rules and try to set things right to have them go right back to crap."

Sefyr answers, "By all means, it is in the past and I will be more than willing to apologize for my actions. The question is, will she be able to apologize to me?"
Rid responds, "I haven't done anything to apologize for. My actions made her who she is today; if anything, she should be thanking me."
*Nods to Sefyr*
"I will talk with her, the worst she can do is refuse, but I think she has changed her views on a lot of things, she surprises me sometimes with her ability to let things go."
*To Rid*
"She is your half sister, I know what was done to you, but it still doesn't excuse you doing it to little girl. Did it make her stronger, yes, it also made her angry and she did the same thing to her family. The difference is she, regrets it. You maybe gorgeous on the outside and probably have any number of men and woman fawning over you. It won't be me, I accept mistakes, I accept atonement, I accept forgiveness, what I don't accept ever is ego and pride. Until you take a step back and look at yourself, and find it in your heart that you wronged an innocent, your family, and yes I do mean all of them will never truly embrace you."
*sighs*
"You have so much potential to be a good person, can you work through what happened to you and forgive yourself? Once you can do that, you won't be that girl using her body as a weapon, you can find happiness. Anyway, this is starting to depress me, think on those things, until you do, you won't have anytype of relationship with Tan."
*says his goodbyes and heads to bed*

You get back to bed, and Tan rolls towards you and idly traces a circle on your chest, saying quietly, "Back so soon? You could have done something. I wouldn't have been mad."
An obvious lie, but a white one at this point.
*grins figuring she was keeping tabs of some sort*
"We both know that wasn't happening even though your sister was really trying. Too bad she doesn't know what I am about. Had an interesting conversation with Sefyr, of all people, I think he misses his friend and wants to apologize, and I think you would want to do the same to him, considering what happened. Your sister on the other hand is either incapable or doesn't want to admit she was wrong, even though she missed you too. So you were the topic of conversation, and David went to bed with who knows how many women. The rest were all drunk and in various states of womanizing."
*grins*
"I don't think she liked me blowing her off, probably hasn't happened before."
*snuggles into Tani*
"Oh and you need to work on your lying."

She props herself up on her elbow, looking irritated. "Rid? What did she do? Did she touch you? She makes me so mad." She lays down with her arms folded across her chest.
In response to what you say to her regarding Sefyr.
"I haven't done anything to apologize for. My actions made him who he is today; if anything, he should be thanking me."
*gives her the stern look*
"You raped his daughter, and that is the exact phrase Rid said about apologizing to you, so let that sink in. She was all over me but I didn't lay so much as one hand on her, I did however put her in the Tsukuyomi, to try and put some sense into her, to get her to open up, but who knows if it did any good. She was messed up by those things and she messed you up, and you messed others up. The cycle of hatred ends, and if you can't apologize to who was once your best friend, how can you heal hun?"

"He wasn't ever my best friend, Jef was, and Jef hung around with him, and if you want to get technical, he raped my daughter first, because he went back in time and did it, which is how his daughter was born in the first place; it means that my raping his daughter had nothing to do with his raping mine, because he would have travelled back in time and raped mine anyway. Mark explained it all to me when I was feeling guilty because he fed me the same line. Sefyr isn't as slick as he thinks if he thinks that crap will work twice."
*Shakes his head*
"I cannot believe you justified raping your granddaughter by a technicality. Unbelievable."
*gets out of bed, gets his sock on and katana and just walks, not wanting anyone else to justify their f*cked up viewpoints to him tonight*

*I turn away, I really don't feel like having the conversation that both his granddaughters are scumbags conversation, it will likely not go well, I will find a quiet place to sit, and stay for as long as possible*

Henry sits down next to you, and asks, "Is something bothering you, Jhiaxus?"
"Actually yes, Tan had the audacity to justify the timing of who raped who's daughter first with Sefyr, when it meant she raped her own granddaughter to get back at him. If she still thinks like that to this day, what makes me think I can trust her around my daughter who isn't her flesh and blood."
*moves his hand in a motion in a circle around the area*
"All these people, make me feel like I'm crazy, listening to them justifying their actions. I am not perfect, I have my flaws, my hangups. I don't expect them to be perfect, but the viciousness and the callousness of their actions sometimes is mind boggling."
*sighs*
"I have all of Tan's daughters save one or two coming on to me, Tan's sister trying to seduce me, Tan being Tan. Someone just needs to slap them upside their heads and get them to just stop."

Henry nods, listening to you, and when you're done, he responds, "Ru Ya Li was not a very good father when he was among us. I have tried to provide support for his children, particularly his daughters, from the time they were young; unfortunately, you know how things turned out for them, in spite of my best efforts.
"I do believe that you have it within yourself to treat Tan with a firm hand and lead her in the right path. As Draconians go, she is yet young, and due to her trauma, she is in may ways still childlike. If you feel this is not a task for you to undertake, I certainly will not tell you to marry her."
*considers what he has said*
"Part of the problem stems when we met she was much stronger than myself, and she trained me to a certain point. I have since gone back several times without her to train myself, so I still think, she thinks she has this big advantage over me when likely there is not. I also try to avoid fights whenever possible, so that might add to the theory above."
*Pauses*
"I love her, but if she doesn't want to make amends and make things right, that's on her and not me. I am not going to worry about her sister either, there is no way she is going to seduce me to do anything, if those two want to fight or do whatever, that too is on them. Thanks Hen ri, I do have one question, is there a reason why Zero is kept as a sword still when at least one was freed? That's just my own curiosity talking."
*Will head back to bed when the conversation is over*

He says, "I doubt if Tan considers your strength as a threat to her; that part of the family has always been somewhat headstrong and reckless, but even more than that, she possibly feels comfortable enough around you to feel that you will not fight her. It is pleasant to see her again after all this time; it must be difficult for her to embrace her true self, and I applaud you for helping her work through it as much as you have.
"Zero isn't a sword any longer; he's actually here for the wedding, as are Bloodfang, Celeste, Snow, and Claude."
*smiles*
"True, but no matter how strong the woman is, if she doesn't trust that her man can protect her, it leads to her taking risks that she doesn't need to take. Well I am glad two, we wouldn't be here today if she was still a man.
*grins*
"That's good, well good that they aren't swords, that's what I feared my fate would be. Lets see, I killed Claude, and Snow and I left on not the best terms after I refused to do what she wanted, and got what I needed. Should be an interesting wedding. Thanks again, I'm headed to bed goodnight."
