*You have to go into them to get full details, but the filenames reveal this is Project Utopia, and the collars are a part of a project to see if a collar could forestall violent conflict. In order for more, you have to go into them to read them*

*Project Utopia, is a research project where we take the subjects, load them on a shuttle, put them to sleep and put them in a research facility deep underground in Proxima 5. The subjected awakened to find their prefab space station in deep space constructed as they "emerge from cryosleep". The process will simulate a deep space environment, and test out the *Neuro Inhibitor Collar*, please see file *Neuro Inhibitor Collar* for more info on *Project Peace.*

I'd like to reference the subjects for their criminal histories. Would rather not deactivate the collars and be assaulted by serial murderers.

Well, interesting. "It looks like none of the people here have criminal backgrounds; we can go ahead and deactivate the collars from here, I think; we'll be leaving ourselves vulnerable to the things you could expect in any society, but I think it's well worth it to give them their freedom."
I check the secret instructions in the collars.

See if I can find a way to access the security system cameras and watch for people coming this way.

*Hits him in the stomach and back up to the wall*

*They throw down their appliances*
"Yes ma'am"
I watch Cass, letting her take the lead, since I've already said my piece, and was hoping they'd make the first violent action; ah, well. At least they give up.
*Cass smiles*
"Bad cop, worse cop."
*She shrugs*
"So um what now? Going to break the news to them?"
I nod. "Captain, I'd like a word with you, please. It would be best if we could speak in your quarters, alone, just you, Cass, and me, as what I need to tell you is very bad news for everyone."
*The Captain gets up from the wall, and looks beaten*
"Yeah sure, guys help someone do something."
*when they are gone*
"What do you want to tell me that I would want to hear?"

I let him sit in the chair I had vacated.
"Captain.. or should I say, King, or Emperor, or Supreme Ruler... I suspect that we are not in space, sir; we are in fact underground. The above world is a terrible, uninhabited place; Cass ventured here from there.
"Furthermore, I fear that through some terrible calamity, the people here are the only remnant of humanity left in the universe."
I'm glancing to Cass from time to time to make sure I'm getting all this right and this is what she meant for me to tell him.
*Cass nods at what you say*
*The Captain says*

I allow Cass to lead the way, after giving her an inquisitive, concerned look, as if to ask if this guy will survive the experience.
*She shrugs as if to say she did, the suit is not a environmental suit*
*She leads you through the hallways to a Hatch Labeled, Danger, Docking Hatch, Do Not Open. It is open and there is a pale lighted walkway going across to another hatch, that one opened as well, with a path going stright, then up, it is rocky going up*
"That goes up for about two miles in a slope, and then you are on the barren surface."
I turn and look to the Captain sympathetically.
"I'm sorry, sir, but it seems you've been duped."
*He sits down on his knees and weeps*
