I was anticipating a reaction such as this, but it's never easy to witness a grown man crying.
I get down on his level and pat him on the shoulder, and I say to him, "You are the only one who can hold these people together; they respect you and will listen to you." I survey the land, and pick up some of the earth, letting it fall through my fingers; having once grown a garden in a wasteland, in my opinion, does it look like it may be possible to perform agriculture out here?

*The Captain pulls himself together*
"Wait....we do have terraforming machines in cargo, I wonder if they are real or not."

*They are indeed real, to add to the realism of the simulation, like the weapons and other items, there are also power generators, low grade matter transformers, everything you would need to jumpstart a new habital world, at least that still has an atmosphere.*

I watch Cass throughout, making sure this is okay with her.
"In that case, I move that we abandon this Garden of Eden; we have sampled the fruit of knowledge, and found it bitter. We will embrace a harder life of toiling under the sun, and in exchange we will be blessed with hardship, sickness, and faint glimmers of happiness that seem all the brighter when viewed next to such strife. Once we are done here, we dispose of the collars inside and seal the place off, allowing it to be forever lost to time.
"Of course... the decision is yours, Captain."
*He relents*
"Breaking this to the crew will not be easy."
*He breaks it to the crew, the reaction is not a positive one, but they really have no choice, they begin to bring the equipment to the surface, but they vote to come down here at night till there is food, shelter and society above.*
I would expect no less. I certainly chip in and do what I can to help while I'm awake.

*Work goes pretty good over the first month, they get all the terraforming equipment operational and hovering above the land, and the formatting machines are making robots to build things with materials it will create later.*
Good stuff; looks like our lives won't be so terribly difficult after all, with hope. I ask Cass what her feeling on all this is.

"Well it beats, dealing with the chinese and then dying from radiation from the fallout, and being called a Tiefling in a world a lot like the world I came from originally. I mean if this was just a colony, there is a possibility that this just affects this world, their might be others around."
*The Captain comes up to you*
"Things are going well, and faster than expected, a world is usually given one fabricator, and one transforming machine to get a world ready in a decade, at this rate, we can be up and out in a year and a half. With a full fledged city built. People's spirits are better, and we still have the habitat underneath. It is powered by a huge thermo reactor, that was powering everything above as well. So we even have a power source. I sent the techs down there, to do some maintenance on it, and to make sure it keeps running."
"It sounds like everything is progressing excellently; it must be sure that the children learn such skills for the future, so your descendants may prosper ever after and face whatever problems the word throws at them, much as you have faced this calamity."
*His face grips with fear*
"Is this word the force that did this to the above world? Should we prepare for it? Such an ominous name for a thing capable of Genocide."

Meantime, we're trying to create a viable society here, at least until we reach a situation. In my off time, I'll spend some with Cass, some sleeping, and some keeping up my exercising myself as opposed to the hard work I assume we have to do on the surface to get everything ready.

Cool; I'll teach her Untouchable, explaining to her that I took Bruce's teachings about not killing others a step further by creating a style that focuses on evasion and deflection.

I certainly will teach them, proud of my art; I also know several other arts, which I will teach them. I think how one day I'd love to open a Cunning Fox self defense school.

Teaching basic style for Ku Fung and Untouchable with a strong focus on not fighting unless it's absolutely necessary.
Since there aren't a lot of martial artists in the world, I'm keeping my numerous defenses and the solid punch and Mitzu Frenzy and Eskrima close to my chest; the concern is that these people will use their skills to hurt others.
When I determine they have a solid understanding of what it really means to study and understand these arts, I will teach them Hapkido.
May I see my character sheet so I can say more clearly?

No worries if you don't get to it tonight. I'm just teaching them the basic styles of these two at least until they're professional, maybe expert, depending highly on the individual and whether I think they have a deep understanding of the nonviolence training.
