haha rofl.

I didn't do it.

Try to make my way back to Cass to die with her, if I killed the life support systems I'd at least like to be by here when I die.

*It's Dark, do you have a way to see in the dark or a light source you would likely carry with you? Also all the doors and ways in and out are electronic, so unless you have a way around that, those are two big issues.*

H'm.

Well, I have the Pipboy, if it has a lit screen and isn't totally fried like the ship...

Not that that'll help me get out of this room, if I'm sealed in here.

Guess I don't have much choice but to wait and hope that they don't trace back where the glitch came from.

Try telepathy to say to Cass, "I didn't do it," jokingly, so she knows I did.

*She is asleep, rolling an int check, she is incorporating it into her dream*

"Again, really, why do I have to wear the school girls outfit, when your the one that gets into trouble."

Back to her, "Alright, I'll wear the schoolgirl outfit, but you have to promise to be gentle, okay?"

Is the Pipboy fried? It would be very lucky if it wasn't, but I can't imagine it not being, since it was hooked up at the time of the crash.

*The Pipboy 3000 is not fried, it is hardened against nuclear EMP, so it took the shock and kept on tickin*

"She nods, but I want french fried potatoes, not fries, just potatoes, and I want it after we play our tennis match, in the movie theater by the air hockey table."

Alright, then, see if I can give the door enough of a jolt from the Pipboy to get it to open.

"I thought we were going to play water polo in the street today."

*The pipboys and the doors power systems are not related, you can't "jump start the door", also the door is hardwired into the ships electrical system, you can't do what you are describing, but your pipboy does have a light on it you discover*

"That just makes no sense, it hasn't rained in weeks, why is it winter all of a sudden?"

"You know how fast the weather changes, here in outer space."

Well, having a light is a step in the right direction. Make sure it doesn't have a high powered laser while I'm at it. Doubtful.

*The pipboy 300 is not a weapon*

"Huh what?" *She is waking up*

"Why are you invading my dreams?"

J

"Just letting you know that I didn't do it."

When in fact I clearly did.

*What did you do now? Why am I cold, and why are all the lights out, and why am I locked in this da*n room!?

"Yeah, and how about the air quality? Nice stuff, huh? Don't light a match.

"Anyway, I seem to have maybe perhaps possibly accidently certainly definitely fried the entire ship's mainframe computer system. In the expanse of space it could take weeks or months before we're found floating derelict, depending on, you know, where we were when the systems cut out."

"Meet me at the Thai place, I will be there in five"

*She pops in in around five minutes, with the rest of your stuff and hers*

"Well this is a fine mess you've gotten us into Arz."

I smile and hold the ring out to her. "Marry me?" I ask her, my voice thick with irony.

*She points from your knee to the ground*

"Properlike please."

yay bump!

I drop to one knee, hold up the ring, open my mouth, stop myself, look around a moment, and say, "Seithe isn't going to pop out and kill me this time, right?"

"Cassandra, demoness of desire, you have followed me beyond death, waited hundreds of years for me, and, most amazingly, put up with me for as long as you have. I would be honored if you would give me your hand in a proper marriage."

*She smiles*

"I would be honored, but only if Seithe approves. *pause* Just Kidding, of course I will, It's so romantic, proposing on a likely doomed ship, wondering whether we'll die from lack of air to breathe, or from the freezing cold."

*You hear a backup generator sound kick up weekly, it sounds labored, and not well, one could assume that it's being used to power the life support, but that's probably all it is doing. Better than dying slowly, it will likely be hunger or dehydration now.*

*Cass grins*

"Well this place will not be in consideration for the honeymoon, that's for sure."

*Some bad rolls, with a weak success and then a 20 GE roll, yeah this ship will survive, the people on it won't*

True. It just became every man... or person... for themself.

"Say, Cass. I don't suppose you've got any skills from drawing water out of blood."

*She looks at you strangely*

"No can't say that I do, even if I did, I probably wouldn't use it anymore."

J

Yeah. Probably not.

"Just saying, if we can hold out long enough, we might stand a chance of being rescued. You're right, though. We shouldn't stoop to their level.

"Maybe we can do something about this, since we're here anyway. Think we'll be able to find engineering?"

*She shakes her head*

"If I haven't been there, I can't get there unfortunately."

Yeah...

"Maybe we can find someone who knows. It's going to involve a lot of broken doors, though."

*Cass looks at the door*

"That is a recessed door, it doesn't have a seam, if they are all like this, and I will assume they are, it is to prevent areas of the ship to loose air if a part is blown out. I don't know our options, but frying the computer is probably a death sentence for a ship in space."

I respond to her, "True, but we should at least try to have a look at the burnt out hardware for the power systems, if we can.

"Or we can take the easy way out, and kill ourselves."

*She nods*

"I can teleport to places I have been, I could teach you how to do so? Might blow yourself and me out of here."

"Sure, I'm down."

Take her instruction and example, teaching if she's got it, and let's give it a try to the planet we started on.

((29))

*You teleport down to the planet, did you tell her what you were doing?*

Oh, I'm sure it must have come up, if she was teaching me.

Telepathy to let her know it worked.

*She nods in her head*

*She joins you*

"So what is the plan?"

"Well, that worked well enough.

"Maybe we should try to teleport the derelict ship into orbit here for their sake.

"Wait, we've got the resources here to alert our allies that the ship we were on went derelict on course, don't we? Maybe we should do that, instead.

"What do you think?"

*She nods*

"Sounds like a plan, do you want to do it, or should I."

It makes me laugh a little.

"Which one, teleporting the ship or alerting our allies?"

If the first, "You should do it. You're a lot better with those sorts of things than I."

If the second, "Well, let's go together. I'm sure between the both of us we can figure it out."

*Cass teaches herself 1@1 Snatch P13@10*

*She places the ship in orbit*

"Ok it's done, they are in orbit, or at least what I think orbit is, so might want to let them know in case I put them in too low."

"Good idea."

Maybe the Captain is still here. If not, we'll have to go see whoever is in charge.

*The Captain is indeed still here, he has been put in charge of Civilian matters here for the military, and is surprised to see you.*

"What are you doing here, they told us you two and the others have shipped out?"

"We did," I tell him. "Something went horribly wrong, and the ship was rendered derelict. You know Cass and I have abilities for which there is no explanation; to make a long story short, the ship is now floating, hopefully in orbit, not too high or too low, derelict, around this planet. The backup generator on board is powering life support, but a rescue operation must be mobilized immediately, as many people are locked in and there is little food or water. It's only been a few hours, so we need to act quickly."

*He nods and radio's command ((rolling dice GE 16))

*The ship is in stable orbit, and they are sending another ship to dock to provide power and control to the other ship.*

*After a few hours*

"You two just probably saved all their lives, you should be promoted for that, although the ship will need to be retrofitted now, replacing the computer core and all the other systems, could take months."

As player, I find it quite amusing that I nearly killed them all and now perhaps would get a promotion for it.

"We only did what anyone would be expected to do if they found themself in that situation."
