I take it that, at least thus far, no one has determined what caused the shutdown of the ship. I'm going with the theory that there was some glitch in the computer.
Ask Cass during our dance quietly if now this makes me "Arziay DeMone" -- explain that I have no surname, so if she would like one, we can certainly invent one.

*It's a good dance, the reception is fun, good food, good friends, the military people are happy as their ship is getting fixed, the war is going well, ((A 7 and a 4 GE roll will do wonders for a war that shouldn't be)) kicking the butt of the technologically superior enemy. So they are eager to get into the fight.*

Guess I must have missed it on the sheet, but I am quite sure that I have never introduced myself as anything other than Arziay (or Batman, a couple times).

"We aren't Japanese, but it works, so should we adopt it now, or wait awhile?"
"I imagine we've got to do some paperwork anyway, and marriage is an acceptable excuse to change your name in most societies, so now would be fine."
*She nods and smiles and taking care of the paperwork, doesn't take long at all, so thats three months down out of six, how to you want to spend the next three?*

Then just keeping up with my martial arts. Return to my school and reopen it for a couple months.

That might give me the perfect opportunity to take my character development exactly the direction I want it to go.

I'm going to pay the student a house call after they miss three lessons in a row.
*You arrive in his house, and after a few rings he answers the door*
"Sorry, just getting over from being sick, I'm all better now."

Seems pretty anti-climactic, but I don't have a right to pry into whether he's sick or playing hooky, or to care either way.

"Thanks, I will, I look forward to seeing you again and hanging out and renew our close friendship."
