*You get on the comm and you tell Bruce what happened*
*Bruce retorts*
"This new guy isn't wasting any time to get the boss's attention, could be trouble."
*You wait for 3-4 hours*
"You see police and reporters, and one reporter with a camera, but no flash."
Hmm... alright. We'll have to move on. Night is probably wearing thin, but we're looking for anything out of the ordinary as far as crime goes -- check in with Bruce again and let him know there's no sign of the Joker at the scene of the crime.
*You head back to the batmobile and head back to Wayne Manor with no incident, and sleep well*

*Bruce is not angry*
"There is nothing you could have done, you were setup, by someone who knew our patterns, our detective work, and they meant to kill all of you in that blast, not just the Mob. The Joker is cold, but he is erratic, he would never plan for that, he wouldn't set it up like that, no he may have passed off his mantle, but that is no Joker, out there."
*He pauses*
"I had Barbara keep tabs on Tim, he was there all night, so I don't think it was him. This is not a good situation, let's do some more research."
*He has you follow him downstairs, and stops you just at the foot of the stairs*
"Someone was here."
*Bruce shows you the triplines and traps, and they lead to the trophy room with a baterang embedded in the Robin costume*
*Cass looks around*
"I may not know detective work like Bruce, but I was the expert on mind games, and we are right in the middle of one."
I ask Bruce, "Do you think Tim is his next target? We ought to warn him."
*considers*
"Perhaps your right, let me get Barbara on the phone."
*He picks up an extension and all he gets is a busy tone there, he waits five minutes and gets the same.*
"You had better get over there to check it out."

Dressed as BATMAN. Daytime or not, concerned enough for Drake's safety that he should hear about it. Which vehicle... how about the batplane. No, too obvious. Yeah, there's no other real choice... getting stuck in traffic at a time like this would be terrible.
((GE roll if there is even a Batplane in 1939, 20, not going to happen, it's on order, and you have no licence, Helicopters same with that roll, you got the car and a boat, so going to assume your taking the batmobile))
*Your in the batmobile and bypassing down to get to the farm and a voice comes over the intercom of the batmobile*
"Well, well well, it's almost a shame I won't be fighting Bruce after all, such a same, that the family reunion can't go on as planned, Timmy is doing just fine, and Barbara is a fine piece of tail if I do say so myself. Come on batclone, let's see what you got."

*You make it there in 18 minutes, you run around the house, they aren't there, and then you check the Barn*
*You see Barbara on one end of the barn in a chair*, tied up with a bunch of wires leading to what looks like a bomb, and Tim is on the other side, same setup, you see wires, switches, plungers all over the place, both bombs have a clock attatched to them saying 10:58 pm, and looks like the alarm is set for 12.*
"Barbara says in a calm voice."
"He's good, he took out both of us, he's Batman good, he knows how we fight, he knows what we do, he knows how to counter all our moves. He said you will need to make a choice, that you can't save us both."
*Tim says*
"Save Barbara."
*Barbara snaps*
"Don't be a hero, lets see what Batman can do with this. He also said, you had better be on your game to disarm this one."
I don't care who he is, he wasn't expecting Batman to have come from a world where he was a rogue who learned to disarm traps. Of course, this is taking that application a bit further; and smart as Cass is, I doubt she'll be much help in a situation like this. Got to help both of them, got to start with... Tim. At least if I can save him and not her he'll only be terribly jaded instead of terribly jaded and disfigured. Rather not have a new Two-Face on top of a new Joker.

"He likely setup it that way to make sure whomever didn't freeze the mechanical parts with the Nitrogen we carry, it's a multiple trigger bomb, very complicated, how much time is left? Well that will be cutting it close, I will walk you through it."
*55 minutes later, he asks you to take the final snip, after working for nearly an hour on this, you have 3 minutes left, any other preparations before I make the roll?*
Just to mention to Bruce that the person who set this trap probably knows exactly what Bruce would try to do; if he still says go ahead, I'm doing it. Not scared for myself, worried for the two innocents.
*Bruce says*
"You can't second guess yourselves on an action"
*you cut the wire, the both clocks speed up, everyone in the room closes their eyes to embrace oblivion, they click to zero, and the alarms go off*
*Nothing happens other than the alarms go off*
*Everyone in the room is confused and happy*
"Bruce chimes in over the radio"
"Escapes from Arkham, just came over the police band."

*Arkham is through the city on the south side, the police have traffic blocked off, what should be a half hour trip takes 2 hours, when you get there, it's bedlem*
*There is a Blond haired man, with a old fashioned commissioner's uniform directing the cops and he catches sight of you and waves you over*
"Thank goodness your here, some madman caused the excape at Arkham, he released them all, they are all on the loose. He was wearing Leathers, and a Red Mask." *This corresponds with what Tim and Barbara told you of him*
*He looks concerned*
I narrow my eyes, and say in the Batman voice, "We've got to round them up and get them back inside. Do you know where he went?"
*The commissioner shakes his head*
"I don't know where half my men are in there, let alone if he is still around, he is causing the entire city a disruption."

There's not too much I can do here that the police can't. I've got to find the Joker, and this has distraction written all over it. We're out, I'm on the comm with Bruce telling him the situation and my feeling on it.
*You call Bruce as your heading to Joker's cell in the Asylum, there is a lot of blood here and a crowbar but no Joker, and you relay this to Bruce.*
*he doesn't respond for a moment*

"No, I think Joker thought he did, but someone learned how to play mind games from the best. I need to call Talia, you best leave Cass working with the Commish to help. Joker and if my hunch is correct Jason will likely not treat her well. That is my warning, do with it what you will."
*there are crimes going on all over the city now, anything your looking to pay attention to, narrow down your search?*
Alright.. well.. Cass heard him, so I'm guessing she isn't going to argue. While Bruce contacts Talia, I'm looking into one of crimes ... specifically I'm looking for a guy in leather, but I don't really have much to go on othr than that, it would seem. This guy is playing games with me, but I wouldn't judge him as driven by psychosis; rage, maybe, but as I feel Bruce isn't being completely forthcoming with me, it would seem that I have some difficulty finding what drives him. So far, it seems that he's trying to stain Batman's name specifically, and hurt people that Bruce is close with, so his rage is probably specific to Bruce; if we have an active crime somewhere which involves a lot of innocent lives, I would predict that the new Joker is behind it.
*Lots of crimes, two to speak out to you Leather Clad guy, in both The Gotham Mint is being robbed, and Wayne Industries Tech division is being robbed. Your choices are try to narrow down the choice, pick on and go, or rely on a good GE roll to take you to one, choose, but choose wisely*
*Cass will stay with the cops rounding up the Pyschos*

*Style up you go before all of them, and pummel them into the ground, one punch each, the guy in the red veil is shaking and leeking, a puddle forming underneath him, the can be alive or dead, depending on if you pull the punch or not*
