I'll slam this guy into the side of the van (a large object of some kind, such as a wall), not hard enough to kill him, just to put him to sleep for a few minutes (RS minutes/10) or so. "Joker was a means to an end, he drew you in and out of my business, while I took care of business. You can't stop crime, but you can control it and make it manageable. All those years, with what Bruce did, it never stopped the crime, it never stopped Joker from killing people and why? Bruce refused to kill Joker, knowing Joker would kill everyone he could. No we are the same side, I'm just crossing the line Bruce wouldn't cross. I'm also curious just how good you are, so let's do it."

I get into style as well, knowing full well that I absolutely must not kill him. Muscle blocking, following finger, I want to incapacitate him, or die trying. "When we cross that line, we're no different from them. All life is sacred."

Ok... I'm going to try to shoot him with my grapple, failing that, get him with a batarang, failing that I'm climbing after him. Can't let him escape when I'm so close; death for me is one thing, for him is different altogether.

I can't choose to kill and he knows it. I will accept the gun solely to get it away from him. I'm not incredibly worried about Cass, because she's a good fighter, and if he does kill her, I'll see her again. "It doesn't have to be like this, Jason. You can turn yourself in and atone for what you've done. Suicide is never the answer."
*The Joker coughs and tries to laugh*
"This is fun, the Robin I killed vs. The Fake Batman, in a battle of morals. I know how this ends up."
*Jason looks at you*

Three seconds. Hmm. On one, I will level the gun at the Joker. On two, I will cock it. On three, I will (steal initiative) throw it at Jason and charge him in style.

"You've been out a week, Cass rounded up most of the inmates, The Mint lost about 5 million in cash and printing plates in the robbery, but the Joker is alive and back in, so good work. Good for not killing either of them too."
"Joker's alive. Good." A small cough, a wince, and a smile to Cass. "Some water?" Once I've wet my mouth, it's straight to business. "We need to stop Jason before he hurts someone else. Did he strike again while I was out?" Trying to get up.
*Bruce shakes his head*
"He took off with the money and plates it looks like. Aside from some personal vendettas, he was all about the cash and plates, and all that was done to give him the ability to get them."
*Cass goes and gives you some water gladly, she is beeming at you*
*She puts her hand on your chest and pushes you back down*
"Bedrest for a week, and then 4 more recovery weeks for the arm*
*Bruce grins*
"Well at least you have your own nurse."
*Cass grins*
"If he is a good boy, I'll try a healing spell on him to see if we can speed things up."

"Oh the bad news, most of the heavy hitters are still at large."
I nod. "That gives me something to look forward to once I'm allowed out of bed." I'm all smiles for Cass; it's good to see she's ok. "We will see Jason again, Bruce. No worries about that. He will see justice, and you will be able to visit him after he does."
*You are in bed for the week, once the bruises go away, Cass asks if you want her to try to heal you, it's risky here, but she's pretty good at it, probably a 60% of it working.*
"Risky how? I don't want to risk losing you. We might as well go ahead and do it if you think it's not likely to hurt you."
*She smiles*
"Magic doesn't come to me like it did where I came from, where it would always work, same with my mind powers, only the lesser ones work, and not all the time. I couldn't tell you dangerous how, I just have a feeling there are worse things that just failing to do it. It is up to you, I will abide by your decision."
"I don't want anything bad to happen to you; to me I don't mind so much. Go ahead; the sooner I'm better, the sooner we can hit the streets and make it safer for everyone."

"There is activity all over town, sightings of over half the list, most of them working in pairs, they seemed to have upped the ante. There are no crimes now, but the damage has already been done. Is there one in particular you are looking to go after?"
"In pairs, huh? Well, do we know what pairs, or do they seem to change up often? I don't groan so much at Killer Croc, because while Solomon Grundy and Bane, due to the nature of their strength, aren't likely to have gotten weaker with age, Killer Croc is probably just as mean and nasty and much stronger than I am, but not as strong as he once was." If they work in pairs, I'd like to examine their recent criminal histories; the Penguin is one of the easier ones to find because of his fascination with birds and relatively high profile due to his pride, and will probably be one of the easier ones to splinter from the rest psychologically.

"Killer Croc regenerates, so he might be 60, he physically is in his mid 20's, do not underestimate them. Bane is the son of the Original, and Grundy, well he could give Superman a run for his money on pure power and stamina."

There was however a kidnapping and theft of materials from Wayne Industries Genetics Division ((Yes tech there is between 30-50 years ahead of the curve)), of a Romanian Geneticist Dr. Min D. Bender, and genetic samples of various villains and heroes. The project was trying to map the genes of them to see what makes them different.*
