They split up and cover more ground seperately than they could together.
Akimitsu uses her clone jutsu to cover more ground more quickly.

Bairei demonstrates his family skill that they're known for, an immobility skill, for you, telling the story how one of his ancestors once held off 100 foes at a bridge using this ability; Tan walks around him, looking as if she's admiring it, then abruptly trips him, sending him sprawling. He lands as you taught him and jumps back to his feet - again, as you taught him, and Tan shakes her head hopelessly at him. "Keep practicing," she tells him.
Chiko takes you aside and tells you that he's having some difficulty learning a jutsu his father his teaching him. He explains to you, "It's a ninjutsu to draw the heat out of something or someone. It doesn't have any hand gestures, and my father keeps telling me that not all of our clan can do it, so I shouldn't feel bad if I can't; I do, though."
He seems to be describing psionic cryogenesis, an ability which as far as you've seen he probably has no chance of learning at his current ability level without an excellent example and a very able trainer.

Teaching or training is differentiated by the area in which you're teaching or training; it's not as broad a skill as that. You can certainly try to teach yourself to train psionics at this time, if you'd like.
He has a 52% chance of success and a 5% chance to botch without any training, just off your example for the Heightened Awareness.
